    So some people did not pick up on my sarcasm in my first post when I said our coach screwed my son and the team. It was suppose to shed light on the fact that the current way we decided who the best high school teams in the state are, is flawed. NP is being highly under rated because they have a strong senior class. It is my belief there has to be a better way to choose the best teams in the state.

    N Kraus New Prairie may not be as good as they are next year but they might be better. Only time will tell. All I am trying to say is that they are very good this year for instance 3rd in 2A. However just because they have more seniors than underclassmen on the varsity line up this year does not mean the level of wrestling will drop off next year. That is the difference between a wrestling team and a wrestling program; which is what NP has created. I don't know how you think you know NP but I fear your information might be outdated.

    My son didn't get "screwed" out of anything. He lost his spot to a wrestler that was better than him at that point in time. The fact that New Prairie ' s JV roster is so large and talented is a testament to our coaches dedication to the NPHS wrestling program.

    I give full support to our coach and my son lost his wrestle off to the now sectional Champion. I would just like to point out the fact that New Prairie is on the bottom half of the projected team state post season qualifying team scores. This is beyond bad, it is disrespectful.

    This is nuts, New Prairie was the second best team in 2A this year. They have 11 seniors in their line up for sectionals. They could have put in their 45 underclassmen in those weight classes and gotten 13+ kids to Crown Point. To be that low in the scores for team state is crazy. So the np coach screwed his team and my son who went 24-0 this year by letting the varsity seniors wrestle sectionals? The IHSWCA should really rethink the way they do things before everyone sees this stuff for what it really is; a joke.
