  1. Can anyone enlighten me on this?  Saw a lot of inconstency today at the Castle Sectional.  Offensive wrestler two-feet in and opponent body out seemed to be called both ways (take down or out of bounds).  Could have made a difference in a few tight matches.....

  2.

    120: Brown, Willis, and Keller

Brown won every match; Willis bumped to 126 against Castle so did not wrestle Brown

    132: Davis, Ramsey, Suar, McCormick

Daivs beat Ramsey 4-2 I think.  Ramsey won every other match

    138: Schnell, Dixon

Schnell beat Dix 9-1 I think

    145: Smith, Farmer, Whoberry

Smith did not wrestle against Castle.  Think Farmer went undefeated, unless he lost last match against Tell City

    160: Kemper, Jeffress

Jeffress suffered possible concussion in first match against Reitz.  Did not wrestle after that.  Kemper rolled.

    220: Choate, Helfert

        IDK

  3. I'll bite......again (picked Reitz to score 7 last night agains MD before anyone else!)

No championship upsets in this tourney.  It is just not very deep this year

Weight class winners are set from 106-132 per SouthernIndianaWrestler's predictions (nice btw).

138 - Schnell lost to Seng once this year, so the rematch will be close, but I think those two will be in the final and Schnell will win the rematch.  Then we will see what happens at Regionals.

145-285 - Once again agree with SouthernIndianaWrestler's predictions of the winners.

So, again, my prediction is no upset winners!

  4. Yes.  MD 45-22.

Lee, Blackwell and B Irvin were heads above the rest.  Lee v.

Blackwell would have been a great match.

Saul Ervin (8th grade) gave Egli a good match.

Match of the night: Weinzapfel 152 first match of the night.  Down 7-0 in the first against Chad Gahafer (KYState placer in 2013).  Came back to trail 7-6 in the 3rd before a pin with under 5 seconds left.  Crowd erupted and Mater Dei rode the momentum and rolled after that, building a huge lead.  Only bad news is that MD HWT lost via injury FF ( shoulder).  Did not look good and they foreited JV HWT.
