CONTROL (Rule 5-6) §ART. 1 . . . Control occurs when an individual has gained restraining power over an opponent. A wrestler who has control of an opponent is in a position of advantage. Wrestleman- you would say that egli had restraining power over konrath? and also he was in a position of advantage?

Here are the facts konrath had his leg with the same position for a good 30 seconds. Egli stayed in the same position yes hooking the ankle but well before they call the 2 nothing changed. Egli did not have the control you need to have a reversal sitting in the same spot for the last 30 seconds. That's why everyone one in the gym was mad except md (didnt think it took explaining if you actually have any knowledge of the sport and watched the match.. next time ill try and dumb it down for you )

The call was horrible everyone with eyes and watching the match could see that.. Except MD fans! But it happened and we will see the match again I'm sure. Just let mater dei people be happy with a horrible call in their favor again and move on to the next. It's not going to change the refs minds sitting on here arguing about it. We know who won that match without that call and that's sastifaction enough. Let MD act oblivious to what actually happened when a call is in their favor it just makes them look foolish for even defending it... (Rant over)
