First off, it?s no ones business why Ben and his family have chosen to better his education with one of the top 50 schools in the country. I commend you MOMMA_STEWART for wanting to better/challenge your son in every way possible. If anyone?s child had this opportunity I would hope you (as a ?great? parent) would want to do the same for your kid!
IndyStar know your facts before you speak. ISI (The school Ben attends) is accredited by ISACS (Independent Schools Association of the Central States) not by IDOE (Indiana Department of Education) which means there are different guidelines and curriculum. With that being said, ISI would allow someone to transfer into the same grade due to the more rigorous curriculum that they teach.
Fabio Jr. your comment about Harvard and Findlay is completely irrelevant to Ben?s situation. ?BEN? is attending ISI (private school), so of course they are going to accept Ben and his straight A?s, and seeing that their school is much more challenging it is fine for him to attend ISI in the same grade (8th grade).
MOMMA_STWART continue doing an amazing job on raising all of your boys!!! They are all smart, athletic, and strong kids!!! BEN kick some butt this year!!!!!
