  2. #6 Todrank beat Castleberry 11-9. Very questionable no call on back points for castleberry. Refs got together and didn't change it. Ref counted 3 times but all in all a very exciting match. #5 herrin over #9 Haynes 4-3. Very good match. Coulda went either way.

Boggs from SD took #6 Todrank to 2-OT and lost 16-13. Great match.

  3. South Dearborn finished the day at Delta 5-0. 11-0 on the season. Boggs and Lane were not in the line up today due to illness and injury. Hopefully the EIAC can send several wrestlers to SS and perhaps to State. Good luck to everyone this season.

  7. Why do we have different weights throughout the state for middle school wrestling? It seems middle school wrestling needs to be organized a little better for the whole state. The tournament had some kids wrestle more than 5 matches. High School only allows 5 for the day. I know I seen several kids wrestling late into the evening that were exhausted from the long day, but also because it was their seventh match of the day. Does the entry fee money benefit a organization? $35.00 to wrestle and after 7 matches you place 5th and they say good job here is a ribbon for all your hard work.

First time attending the event and at the end it was great matches for my son. Sad to see no podium like at ISWA state or even small $5.00 medals for 1-8.

I encourage who ever is in charge to spend some money for the kids and recongnize them for there hard work.
