  4. this was posted back on October 14th... "I announced this at the Fall Clinic: Anderson Prep needs a head wrestling coach. Contact David Bradford (765) 649-8472 ? option 4. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Dave Bradford is a good guy and very much wants to keep the program going. He needs a coach to make that happen. Dave Cloud"
  5. oh i didnt take it as a knock on fuller...i agree 100% with what you both just said. I read it as if saying cody had nobody to push him. yea, fuller is no phillips and yea he knows that but fuller will "help" phillips better than the majority of most kids in a wrestling practice considering only a select few actually can get as far as fuller has. I love cheering on the little schools, especially the TEC!
  6. Are you not aware that his practice partner is multi semi state qualifier and this year state qualifier austin fuller?
  7. i believe weigh in is 8 and wrestling begins at 930. not 100% sure but close to it. Lol
  8. Thats right im sure there was a zero % chance of that happening too before it did. bwahahahaha
  9. zero % chance? Wow! I saw how good your math was earlier on a post so I won't put much stock into that comment but its real sad to say something like that about any wrestler at this level who has earned a right to be here. Everyone at this level had worked their butts off to earn the right to be at regional and though alot of wrestlers have a slim chance to even get out of the first round, they still have that chance...and its not a zero% chance. Give these guys some credit dude. I would never say any wrestler has zero chance at this level...i have seen many times a #1 upset by #4 and #2 by #3. Those are just numbers and stranger things have happened. I can say I don't see handley getting beat by anyone until midway through state finals our that babcock won't lose this weekend or that phillips is untouchable this year but that doesn't mean I don't think they would get upset in a match before that point because realistically it can happen. I give all wrestlers at this point in the season all respect as they have earned the right to get here and I wish them all the best and good luck. many will wrestle the last match of their career saturday so to those guys I also say job well done.
  10. hartman won't beat hale. Babcock won't get beat.
  11. absolutely! I still say port wins but he won't walk away with it. Aren't port and fuller 2-2 against each other? And frasur is the wild card cause he has skills to win this too.
  12. i am with you on yatsko...you can flip a coin there in that first round match. I just dont see manning making it to the finals. IF he can beat killion, i dont see him beating handley. No disrepect to the kid, manning is tough but if killion is on, it should be a good one. He went the distance with handley at sectionals. who knows though, handley pinned hale in the championships and didnt look too concerned during the match, yet killion took handley the distance and handley was visibly frustrated. guess thats why they have to actually wrestle the matches lol.
  13. i do, however, agree 100% about 138 being the toughest class. i just dont see handley getting beat and i dont see hale getting beat by hartman in first round. I also agree that 145 is really tough. a name nerither of us have in the top 4 there could very well be noe. he has been there before and even big brother noe beat feller when noe was a 4 seed and feller a 1 seed a couple years ago. maybe history repeats itself and could turn that whole weight class upside down. 132 is really tough too. This is always fun to do though and see what possible matchups could be.
  14. well i disagree...especially since your numbers of 26 and 25 add up to 51 wrestlers...i think 14x4=56.
  15. several upsets im predicting and its all just for fun so dont go hating on it. Do your own lol. anyway, 160 is a crazy one as I dont have either #1 seeds making it out of first round...how about that 106 - condo (fc) broyles (nc) isaacs (ccl) fites (sh) 112 - anderson (nc) hill (lb) reed (oa) clark (hag) 120 - campbell (nc) tipton (cv) apsley (fc) shook (hag) 126 - phillips (uc) gettinger (con) messer (kt) struewing (ec) 132 - port (ri) fuller (uc) frasur (con) solomon (lb) 138 - handley (ne) mccoy (fc) hale (sh) killion (cv) 145 - house (con) feller (fc) giffin (sd) webster (sh) 152 - mullins (nc) steele (con) slivka (sh) finney (ne) 160 - day (con) jarvis (nc) evans (brv) vancamp (cv) 170 - decker (nc) miers (ru) sargent (tri) amberger (ba) 182 - hutchinson (ec) bolos (con) rittenberry (nc) randolph (ru) 195 - lumpkin (sh) hawkins (mil) thomas (kt) black (gb) 220 - babcock (cv) lindemann (mil) marvel (con) shank (ccl) 285 - brown (ec) garland (ru) phillips (con) swango (gb)
  16. so in other words...it will come down to just 2 or 3 different teams that can pull out the win and not necesarily the team with the most champs but also not necesarily the team with less champs but more runners ups and/or combination of 3rd /4th place finishers...and if a team can pull an upset here and there then that could change things too. If i was a gambling man, i would put my money on one of those teams in the sectional to score more points than the rest of the other teams to win that sectional. Dont be surprised or shocked to find out that all those teams but one looses the sectionals. I know you believe you think you understood what you think I said but I realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
  17. not 100% and it can be checked but I think tipton beat gray at spartan classic pretty easily
  18. i would give that one to mcdaniel. He has alot of experience and look real good saturday.not taking anything away from twine cause he is good and only get better
  19. does that mean you agree or not? these are just my opinions though. I have several upsets picked throughout the brackets.
  20. Moving on to regionals: sh - 7 nc - 7 cc - 3 tri - 4 cv - 8 hag - 5 kt - 6 ri - 7 ne - 2 ru - 7
  21. as well as the 1 seed...so did the 1 seed at 120 and 1 seed at 182, im guessing with so many forfeits and byes there wasnt much that could be done. also with the news that the 6 seed at 126 is out due to torn ACL, the 3 seed at 126 get to walk into the semis as well. That would have been a good match too.
