  1. look how awesome I was with my picks.....just patting myself on the back lol
  2. Yes I do and I follow your son. I cheer for him and alot of locals from richmond, centerville, union county, rushville, union city, winchester, hagerstown, tri, and more...love the sport snd these kids put in tons of work
  3. Coachi123, keep up the good work. Not everyone on here holds grudges or are jealous. You are doing great.
  4. Is it friday morning yet??? I want brackets! Wake me up when brackets are out lol
  5. I was there and centerville's robinson pinned howard and beat vessels in a tough match. Then only lost by 1 point to hittle. robinson also was a semi state qualifier from last year who only has 2 losses I think...not sure why he isn't ranked.
  6. how do you think you will do?
  7. as well as Cody Steele, state ranked #10, and wrestling in his home gym.
  8. i did in my post of guys to watch for in this but 132 is so freaking stacked. Evan Smiley, Zeke Gomez, Zachary Krumlauf (won last year here), Jordan Lile (already beat him this year), Sam Locke, Barry McGinley and now it looks like Tyler Hupp is wrestling 132 now too. Fuller is solid and is someone that cannot be overlooked but wow what a stacked weight class. Whoever wins this one will earn it the hard way.
  9. "Having an enlarged heart is not something I would want especially in a sport like wrestling." -Y2CJ41 lol. just messin with ya man.
  10. ...and I am glad they get on here a read by the way because I always speak good of these guys. There is something called "confidence" that is gained when someone else believes in you. Alot of matches are lost at this level due to lack of confidence. If I can help build that for someone then I will. You dont have to. You can sit there and say, they are young and things can happen between now and then. Thats your choice. I can tell you that I was one of many that told cody phillips when he was just beginning in elementary that he can do whatever he wants and the sky was the limit...i dont think me saying anything hurt his growth being a 2 time state champ, 4 time conference and sectional champ and current minnesota wrestler. There have been many more of those too. so im going to keep doing what im doing as I think I just proved my point.
  11. according to you then, you cant express that any athlete has what it might take to actually make it? so you cant tell a kid that "yes, you can be anything you want to be"? come on man. get real.
  12. looks like hupp wrestled 132 saturday. I bet he does 132 at spartan and that would open up 138 to who knows lol. I might have to pick hupp over krumlauf at 132 but i just dont know yet. tough decision to guess a pick on.
  13. and that , sir, was my 100th post woohoo. maybe at this rate I can reach 200, but I wouldnt want to put that kind of pressure on myself. lmao. Dont worry guy, I have just as much admiration for your joe garland as I do for big nate. real men wear pink socks and shoes. Joe is the man, super nice kid and great wrestler. even have talked with his family before and I can definately see why this kid is a good, humble kid.
  14. oh my gosh, are you freaking kidding me. get over already. for one, yes I do and two, this young man dont even know I exist so I put no pressure on him. I am a fan. I haveseen that this kid, as a sophomore, has more ability and skill in him than I see in most seniors or college players already. Why are you so against my post of praise for a kid. Did he beat your son or something. some people. wow!
  15. you probably haven't seen him play football then...my guess is after the next 2 and a half years of wrestling and football, I'm sure you will still hear the name in college and possibly pros. This kid is for real.
  16. I mentioned earlier in this thread that richmonds nate trawick will make some noise at 285. Yesterday he beat both tyler uhls and rob mckee, state ranked at 9 and 10. This beast is only a sophomore. Remember his name. You will be hearing it for a long time
  17. this links shows all sectionals by sectional number and each team for each sectional: http://www.indianamat.com/20122013-team-standings-sectional-records/2012/11/

Yea i know now...Hopefully they get everyone back soon and healthy. I know several have missed some time due to illness, injury and ineligibility. I mean, I dont want them beating my team but I would like them at full strength lol. Besides, I cheer for some of them as I do for other wrestlers around the area. They all work hard and deserve to be applauded whether they wrestle for you home team or not.
  20. Yea, it killed me saying it but there are some solid teams and quality wrestlers, some statebound. but there will be several #1 and #2 seeds from sectional 23 getting beat by #3 and #4 seeds at regional from sectional 24.
  21. As bad as I hate to say it, sectional 23 has to be up there with the easiest.

Probably true, you cant keep a competitor down. Been there done that myself. I always wanted to go no matter what for any sport, injured or sick. thanks for the bowers info...again lol. I will fix it.
  23. I also picked him to win and I based it on the fact that he is a beast on the mat and showed it last year here lol

Due to an injury or sick or what? Why would the coaches allow him to wrestle if he wasnt 100% and could barely stand?
