as I predicted, championship round determined the team winner. Columbus East beat Jennings county, 254-229 Big upset wins by East helped win. Section Champ Thomas Emmit at Heavy wieght, score 2-1 over collett from Jennings County, Emmit was a 2 seed JJ Huddleston beat Toby Kirts from Brown County 20-11 at 189 , JJ was a 4 seed Tim Schuler- Sectional champ 140 Steven Rieker- Sectional Champ over Gast 135 Zach Rieker- Sectional champ 130 Baron Rieker Section Champ 125 103 Dalton Noblitt-2nd 112 Mitchell Gilbert- 2nd 152 Caleb Ogle-2nd 171 Ashton Breverly-2nd 119 Jake Carisle- 3rd 215 Clayton Fergusson- 4th 145 Kyle Stillenger-5th thats all i have from memory, if i spelled names wrong, I apologize, it was a great day with great matches all around from all wrestlers from all teams. Congrats to cooper and the entire east team and coaching staff.

at jennings county sectional Thomas Emmit from Columbus East over #15th ranked Collet from Jennings Country 2-1 at Heavy wieght in championship match (Emmit was 2 seed)and JJ Huddleston at 189 from Columbus East over Kirts from brown county, 20-11 (i think) in championship match. JJ was 4 seed

I think tomorrow is going to be a big day for alot of wrestlers, this is by far one of the toughest sectionals iv seen in far of talent, and match ups are going to be the key for winning this thing as a team, itll come down to the final round for the team points battle.

Doing Questionable Things to Win a Match

I too think that its suddenly starting to get dirty out on the mat. I will not say who or where this was, but today I witnessed several dirty moves. I saw on more than one occasion a kid throw punches after the whistle was blown and nothing was done except be given a verbal warning. I also witnessed several kids from the same school start acting hurt anytime they needed a chance to catch their breath. To me this is unsportsmanship behavior and the state needs to tell refs to come down on these types before a student gets hurt from this mess
