Today, i see the brackets, and all i could do is laugh. I thought the Al-Smith tournamet was a elite tournamet based on records performance and previous standings based on the Al-Smith tournamet. So i here its based on kids record, who they beat what they placed at state and so forth. I guess placing high in the Al-Smith tournamet, means nothing. Just another day of wrestling. What really matter is State. Yes, that is obvious, but does it mean, when a wrestler beats all those good wrestlers on that one day and place high, and than the next year it means nothing. I guess all incoming wrestlers, must have it rough, should they not be seeded the lowest. Since placing at state is the measure used for seeding at the Al-Smith. Do good one year at the Al-Smith, or if you do not do good at Al-smith. Just finish strong and will recognize it. Where is the recognition for what is done at AL-SMITH. I consider the AL-SMITH a minnie Semi- State, but hey make sure people arrive early the second day. It looks like a lot of wrestlers will be wrestling there finals in the semi-finals. Way to go, in seeding the wrestlers i see you guys took it serious.
