  3. There are going to be a lot of great matches. Terriquez is my upset pick to beat fuller. So what are some other upset picks?

That is one upset I don't see happening!

  4. Haha! This guy. Clark beating terriquez? Not happening.

You got 5 confrence champs for UCo? Doubtful

You got hagerstown getting 3rd? Nah. Won't happen.

You got million from centerville beating the other terriquez? Not gonna happen. Uc's kid done beat him.

But hey, there only predictions. Just trying to help you out a lil bit. I think union city and union county will have the same number of confrece champs. It gonna come ddown to which of those 2 teams have more 3rd and 4th places.

Yes I picked some upsets but just because a kid won the first time around doesn't mean it will happen the next time! Crazier things have happened!! I agree that it will come down to who has the most 3rdkills and 4thI place finishers..good luck to all Saturday!

  7. I understand what you are saying however the penalty that the official allegedly posted was for the day of and two more.

I don't think the ref gets to decide how long the suspension lasts but I could be wrong...need to ask an official about that one.

  8. The DQ did happen and he was hit with flagrant misconduct and it was said that it carried a two week suspension, even tho I personally do not believe he did it I was sitting matside and there was only marks on one side of the other wrestlers hand, not an upper and a lower mark.

The flagrant doesn't mean he is out two weeks....he is out for that day (south dearborn ) and for the next match...if they don't wrestle again before sectionals then he has to sit out making him ineligible for sectionals (hope this isn't true!)

  9. 106-Boston

    112-Brooks

    120-Cambell

    126-Ayersman

    132-Molloy

    138-Jackson

    145-Tsirtsis

    152-Mullins

    160-Harvey

    170-Willis

    182-Lynde

    195-Raypole

    220-Kral

    285-Suter

There is noway Raypole is even in Sliga's league...Raypole is good but I saw him struggle at the Spartan Classic with Early from Greenfield-Central....I think this one is Sliga's to lose

  10. You can't at all see that?

I'm kind of expecting Phillips to take 3rd behind Crume and Ayersman. Never seen LeCount wrestle, but he's obviously the real deal. I'd pick Phillips over him, but probably could go either way.

No I don't see that happening...I see Phillips finishing 1st...Ayersman 2nd Lecount. 3rd depending on the draw...I just hope that Phillips vs Ayersman is under the lights.

  11. I was standing matside during this match and the Richmond lady definitely yelled "that's bulls*%$!" The first time...after that she was yelling bull crap...the ref never called her any curse words...the UC coaches were told to sit down and the ref never said a word to them...he asked the score keeper if the takedown was after the buzzer which he replied yes. The UC coaches did what any other coach would have done for their own wrestler. Was it a close call?? Yes it was but Noe was not in control when the buzzer went off...he had a chance in over time but didn't get the takedown...good luck to both at sectionals.

  12. We are talking possible 90 pounds..with a big athletic heavy i dont think he would stand a chance once he gets underneath.  He has a signature high crotch and that involves getting under his opponent.  Maybe if we was more of an outside/low single, quick style wrestler he would fair better.  I just think that would be too much for him to handle.

I really don't think the weight would be an issue...I think Sliga would be just fine...I've seen Cody Phillips wrestle with our heavyweight (A Semi-State Qualifier) and Cody takes him down with his speed...so if he can do it I'm sure Sliga can!
