Coach McCormick Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 The Yorktown Middle School wrestling team (sponsored by the YWC) traveled to Parkersburg, West Virginia for the WV Middle School Duals on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 28/29). The event was held at Parkersburg High School. The Tigers battled hard and finished the event 6th out of 25 teams. The Tiger wrestlers went 4-0 on Friday night. In tournament play on Saturday the YMS Tiger wrestlers went 3-1 on the day making their overall tournament record 7-1. During Saturday?s action the Tigers buckled down during round 2 and beat Trinity, Pennsylvania 37-36.
