    CLINTON, INDIANA - The South Vermillion Wrestling team hosted their first home meet of the year with the Covington Trojans on Thursday night. The Wildcats were the first team at South Vermillion to use the new Auxiliary Gym and filled the house!  

     

    The Wildcats defeated the Trojans by a score of 48 to 30. The Trojans record stands at 0-2. The match started at the 106-weight class.

    The Wildcat’s season record currently stands at 4-1. “I thought our boys fought very hard this evening, but Covington is an improved team,” said Coach Stateler. The next action for the Wildcats will be next Thursday, December 7th as the Wildcats will travel to the Fountain Central 6-Way this Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. with Junior Varsity action followed by Varsity action.
