Kyle was going through a tough time in his life. But he is going to be solid. He is a force to be reckoned with.
What school is he at and what weight class will he be wrestling? I look forward to seeing him wrestle come february. Good luck!
-
I believe the Traicoff is seeded by last year's Traicoff finish.
If i'm correct CP took third last year
-
Kyle Riedling should be very high on this list ,I am looking foward to seeing Riedling vs. Decker!!
I was wondering what happen to Kyle. That kid is a stud and will make some noise come tournament time. Does anyone know why Kyle didnt wrestle last year? I didn't see his name at all last year, I thought he had moved. My pick is Kyle over Decker

5. Munster vs. Lafayette Jeff
6. Castle vs. Ev. Mater Dei
7. Cathedral vs. Portage
8. Yorktown vs. Merrillville
9. Crown Point vs. Mishawaka (#1 vs. #2)
What a week for dual meets in Indiana!
By the way, congrats to Wrestling Fan, going 5-0 last week and being the only one to do so.

What a surprise CP gets the #1 seed . I believe Mish is the clear favorite. I guess CP being the returning state champ has to account for something.

I feel our squad can make the final four... We are really looking forward to many tough matches such as willis and i, stahl and torres, van horn and acuna. Hell maybe roach will wrestle torres! There are alot of possible grudge matches and I feel that we're more preparred than any team in the state.
I agree Portage matches up well with all teams except Mish in my opinion. Depending on the draw, I would not be surprised to see Portage in the final four. Good luck!
-
I agree, I think Mish will win also. I imagine Coach Wadkins will post the seeds once he's finished pairing. He does a great job of separating the conf opponents in the first 2 rounds and getting the best competition on the main floor in the final three rounds.
Is there a difference between Franklin Community and Franklin if so which teams is at the Traicoff? Some good 2nd round duals with teams like Franklin, Cathedral, L.N. and Portage having to wrestle each other to see who gets in the meat grinder. Lets not forget Munster either, who beat a tough Elkart Memorial team earlier this year. Its going be an exciting day of wrestling.
-
Coach Maldonado runs a good dual tournament with some quality teams. Now with Yorktown, it makes the day of competition that much better. Keep up the good work David, maybe you can go to a 16 team and use the same format as Calumet.
-
Lets get some thought on what teams will be in the final four? Who will win? Also what are the possible individual match up we can look forward to?
-
Not complaining, just "aksing" how mish is ranked above the number one and two team state placing teams cp and pm. I think cp went 5-0 at the Stagg tourney this weekend with 5 champs.
I'm not to sure about PM since I'm from the region but you have to take into account some of the seniors CP lost last year. They had a real good supporting cast of seniors last year who I felt took it up a notch came tournament time. CP is a good team but I dont think there as good as last year. Who knows they might prove me wrong. As far as the Stagg tourney, it is a Tourney not a dual.
-
That's going to be a good match. Hope it happens and the coaches dont bump anyone. Ill take Campbell he was my pick last year at 103
-
Can we get an update?
-
How did everybody else do?
-
What teams were there?
-
Wow! those are 4 good teams going at it. What was some of the big matches? Can we get some individual stats?
-
Does anyone have any updates or info on how Portage is doing? Heard that the #1 ranked 152lber Malik Taylor from IL was going to bump up and wrestle 160 this weekend.
-
Looks like we got some good finals. Please keep the updates coming.
-
Chesterton middle school are 8-0. Just beat Hobart who were also undefeated . The light weights are doing an excellent job and setting the tone of each dual.
-
Anthony has been released from the doctor and will be making his debut on wed. against Crown Point.
-
Why are the brackets so important before the tournament even starts?
It helps promote our sport. By posting the brackets people can see the possible match ups and decide to make the drive.
-
Lets not forget Campbell and Beck who missed out last year. This is going to be the weight class to watch come tourney time
-
whats up with duckworth? I thought someone on here said he was going to defend his 171 title.
-
That makes 112 more interesting. Kyle is a stud and a great kid
-
When is the seeing meeting? Maybe someone can post the brackets after the meeting.
Looking For Rankings Worthy 103, 125, 130, 135, 145***, 160, 215, and 285's
