The GNWA in partnership with America Crown proudly presents the 2009 Dixie National/Minion Duals to be held on Sunday December 27, 2009 at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA . There will be an Elementary (K-5) and Middle School Division (6-8). Only eight teams will be accepted per division with each team guaranteed four duals. Top three teams in each division will receive awards. This is a great opportunity to get mat time before the Dixie Nationals! The tournament will take place on the day of weigh-ins for Dixie?s. Wrestlers competing in the duals will only have to weigh-in once. Space is limited so don?t be left out.! Tournament Info: Date: Sunday December 27, 2009 Location: World Congress Center (Site of the 2009 Dixie Nationals) Format: 8 teams divided into 2 pools. Each team will wrestle everyone in their pool then will have a crossover match. Seeds will be determined by pool placement. Awards will be given to the top 3 teams. Weigh-in Information: Participants in the duals will weigh-in at 11:00 am. Wrestling will begin at 12:00. Weigh-in will count for Dixie Nationals as well. Note: Teams must weigh-in together Entry Fee: $375.00 per team. Teams will consist of 16 wrestlers plus 2 alternates. No team may have more than 18 wrestlers on their roster.
