  3. We are not going to hold practice tomorrow night 5/8, but we will be back on for next Wednesday, May 15th 7:00-8:30pm.  We will have Lincoln College Head Coach Steven Bradley in to run practice.  See everyone next week.

    Head Coach: Steven Bradley

    Email Coach Bradley: sbradley@lincolncollege.edu

A native of Beech Grove, IN, Steven was a 3 time Indiana state champion for Beech Grove HS. Steven started his collegiate career at Lincoln College. Steven was a Jr. College National runner-up in 2000 for the Lynx. After graduation from Lincoln, Steven transferred to University of Indianapolis.

After a year of competition Steven’s college career was cut short due to injury. Steven served the last four years as Assistant Coach for Indy before coming back to Lincoln. In that time he helped produce 12 NCAA Division II All-Americans. Bradley was inducted into the Indiana Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007.

In his 3 years at Lincoln Steven has helped produce 16 All-Americans. In addition to his coaching Steven is the Director of the Lincoln College Fitness Center.

  4. With this week being Freestyle and Greco State, we plan to get a good workout in.  No guest clinicians, just hard drilling followed by live wrestling. Show up ready to work hard.  See you tomorrow night 7:00-8:30. Don't forget your USA Card.

  5. Tomorrow night we will host former Purdue Wrestler and current Ben Davis Assistant Coach Davion Peterson.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.  Remember you must have your USA Card to participate.

  6. Tomorrow night we will host Tom Erikson as our guest clinician.  If you do not know Tom, he was one of the best heavyweight wrestlers ever, and is always entertaining to learn from.  Being we are in the middle of freestyle season, this is a perfect opportunity to learn from Tom's many years of freestyle wrestling experience.  Action will get started at 7:00pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Also, if anyone is interested in volunteering to be the demonstration dummy it would be greatly appreciated.  I have taken enough beatings at the hands of "The Big Cat".

Enter door 31 and you must have your USA Card to participate.

  7. We will begin hosting our RTC next Wednesday night 2-27 at 7:00pm.  Enter door 31 and the wrestling room will be straight ahead on the left.  Be sure to bring your USA Wrestling card, as you will not be able to participate without it.  See you next Wednesday.

  10. Maybe he decided to attend the school he is at because it was the best fit for him.  Big Ten wrestling is a very tough place to be, and not everyone is ready to make that step.  That can be for various reasons, and it doesn't necessarily mean they can't compete at that level as we can see.  Cole is doing very well where he is at and seems to be satisfied with his decision.  He did have a good day at the Hoosier Duals, and the Avon Wrestling program is proud of his accomplishments.  We look forward to his continued success at the college level.  Good luck Cole and stay healthy!
