  9. No limit on the heavy wieght. Running two divisions allows for your little guys to count and be part of a team. And your little guys dont have to face a kid who is a lot older...which is a loose/loose situation in my opinion. Look forward to seeing you guys in January!

  13. HYWAY?.if you build it they will come! HYWAY meeting Aug. 31 in Rochester. Where: Rochester High School. Off of 31, take 25 exit to the second stop light. Turn left (CVS is on your left). Take that to the high school (it?ll be on your right) to the front doors. Library is right inside the front doors. When: Aug. 31, 2009 Time: 6:00 Before everyone was able to run the first had to learn how to walk. The HYWAY is beginning to take off! There will be a HYWAY meeting for anyone interested in hosting a tournament or anyone interested in hearing the goals of the HYWAY. The HYWAY is being modeled off the MYWAY system that is now used in Michigan. Another goal of this meeting is to educate everyone about the purpose of the HYWAY and develop it to promote Indiana wrestling. If you are interested in hosting a tournament, please bring with you a date(s) of your tournament. We will be discussing the use of mat side pairing and multiple weigh in sights for tournaments to make sure tournaments flow quickly and promptly. We want to make sure families can get in by ten and be out in less than 6 hours. We will also be discussing elementary duals and scheduling of duals and the possibility of putting together an all elementary dual team for each of the HYWAY regions. If you have any questions about this meeting, feel free to contact Jason DeMien at: jdemien@wanee.org HYWAY

  15. I believe the HYWAY will be good competition for the ISWA. The best thing about the HYWAY is once it get going strong it is built to build and promote all levels of wrestling. Right now the ISWA does this for our high schoolers(which I 100% agree with) but not our youth. This is where I believe in the HYWAY has a huge advantage. The HYWAY is just begging....it took MYWAY a while to get on its feet to. It will get better and bigger. The best thing....we will all benefit from it.
  16. We are hosting an (k-5)Elementary Duals competition on January 16 in Nappanee, IN. If you would like information contact: Jason DeMien jdemien@wanee.org
