Coach Lone

I started the sport of Wrestling in the 2nd grade, 1983. I have not left the sport since, competitor straight to coach. 

-ISWA member since 1984 (a few years I may not have had my coaching card)

-ISWA Freestyle and Greco State Champ in my middle school years.

-ISWA State place winner and member of Team Indian trips in the late 80s to early 90's.

-4 year Varsity Wrestler at Clinton Prairie HS. Ranked as high as 3rd in State.

-4 year Varsity Letter Winner for Manchester College from 1992-1997.

-Head Middle School Coach at NorthWood for 16 years

-Head Varsity Coach at NorthWood for 7 years

-Assistant High School Coach at NorthWood for 14 years.

-It has been a family business. Both of my sons were successful youth wrestlers earning State and National titles. Both were middle school State Champs. Both placed in Freshman/Sophomore State, Kaden was Champ his sophomore year. Both multiple HS State place winners. Jake: 8th-6th-2nd and Kaden 7th and 7th. Both are wrestling for the University of Indianapolis. 

Wrestling has been a big part of my life. I owe a lot to the sport and I pay it forward every chance I get! Embrace the Grind!
