Forrest has made the decision to continue his wrestling career at Lake Erie College in Painesville Ohio NCAA D2 program.

I wanted to come on here to let everyone know why Forrest forfeited the final 2 matches. After wrestling his way back through the loser bracket to get in the placement rounds the announcer was calling for All-Americans to stop at the head table before leaving for the evening. We did , as I was there I asked what time does he need to be here in the morning, She replyed no later then 6:15 pm..  I replied (6:15) wow, why so late, she said would you rather him not be All- American, so I said of coarse not, see you then.  WELL as we were eating lunch around 1:30 Sunday Forrest got a text from a coach asking him why he forfeited the final 2 matches, our stomach sank!!!! Drove to arena got the lady who told me 6:15 and the director and asked them what the heck (putting it nicely) The lady said oh my, Im so sorry, I said wow that's it. SORRY .  We believe Forrest would have been wrestling for 3rd and fourth to avenge his loss in the first round .

This is our first time at this event, we have traveled all over the States wrestling, I would say that this tournament is one of the toughest . not sure where else you can get Folkstyle competition like this other then Flo. Also there are so many college coaches running around to mention. I have seen Duke, Application State, Arizona State, Cornell, Penn NIU, SIU, UNI, VMI and on and on. Forrest has 13 state champs, 7 state runner ups and 28 state placers in his bracket not to bad. Blake's bracket is also loaded. I would defiantly recommend this tourney to anyone.

Thank You for the nice post, I would hope that a coach would comfort my son if he lost his last high school match in that situation (Friday Night). Cottey and Forrest left it all on the mat.  I just told him he was a stud wrestler and keep his head up.

About the chest bump.  I believe that we all have different ways of expressing ourselves that was just his way, I guess, I would prefer a hand shake. Was a great ride for my son he is very pleased the way he wrestled as I am as well.

This happened to Forrest last year , All my family and friends from PA. could not believe that those 2 (phillips ) wrestled in the ticket round both were in the finals the previous year. Forrest actually beat the eventual state champ 4-3 in the pre-season open at Garret.  The one  thing that kept the fire burning hotter then ever is that he had one more year. I personally think the way Indiana does Semi State  not having  true wrestle backs is terrible, but I am from PA so I grew up where we had wrestle backs.  What other State does not wrestle back other then Indiana? I feel horrible for one of the boys Connor or Sawyer Both would have placed high in the State but one will go home. Good luck to ALL.

backed out )

Good Tourney ::: Except when you have matches like at 106 and 126 , 4 guys expected to make it to state and might be under the lights, with fans that came out to watch those matches .. They wrestle them at the same time . I personal thought that was not the thing to do . 

I would consider Jay Franko from Jimtown he looked good yesterday at Elkhart Memorial lost to Davis 3-0 and Glogouski 6-0 they were great matches . He will make some noise.

well seeing is believing  I guess, check trackwrestling, he is wrestling today in Lowell Michigan in a dual at 125.

Forrest Glogouski  5' 5'' 125lbs From Fairfield had a great night against Lakeland last night as well, 2 blocked punts , a 54 and 72 yard reception for touchdowns and some nice sticks on Defense.

Thank you all for your kind words , his mother and I are very proud of him, I am sure he will use this loss for fuel for this summer and next season.

Dude your Crazy ,Forrest was running a tilt never seen a reversal or back points for Chafin. but I guess its your opinion.Chafin is tough though..  By the way its Glogouski
