Flagrant Misconduct is any physical or non-physical act on the part of the coach or contestant which occurs before, during or after the match considered by the referee to serious enough for disqualification. Profanity is considered Flagrant Misconduct. The National Federation and the IHSAA have emphasized good sportsmanship and any language not acceptable in the classroom will not be acceptable in athletics.

Sounds like the referee had the right to make the call.  Act with class from the top down and this stuff usually doesn't happen.  Sounds like your boy unfortunately got the brunt of something not caused by him.

  2. The Garrett Invitational was a great day for Fort Wayne Wayne wrestling! Shout out to first placers Kenez Omar and Shaun Johnson, second places Taj Neeley, Emmanual Bunch, and Austin Vasquez, and third placers Braxton Riley and Rashaam Hill!! I bet no one expected Wayne to do that well yesterday!!! Also representing the Fort well second place winners Tyree Elkins, Stephen Nix, Logan Aldridge, and Bryce Whoenker!!! Except of course our die hard fans and he who should not be named  :o I can't wait to see how we do at conference. You'll know me soon. I will be the loudest lady there next to the Generals side, cheering with the Wayne fans. GO WAYNE!!!!

There isn't anyone taking anything away from Wayne.  Unless you have been under a rock you know that Wayne has made some great improvements.  As a matter of fact I don't know anyone that is a true wrestling fan that doesn't want to see FWCS make a come back.  It like this, everyone in the area wants our Semi-State to do well and that will take FWCS being a part of that.  Back when our Semi-State was able to hold their own was when the SAC would have a couple, if not a few State Champions.  Trust me on this I understand the uphill battle that the FWCS face and really hope for the best. I am glad to hear Miami middle school is starting a program that is definitely a step in the right direction.    Remember we may compete against each other but when we reach the ultimate goal, that is Banker's Life, we will be rooting for anyone that is from our Semi-State.  Good luck the rest of the season.

  3. Graham is a Public School Not relevant to the conversation but that knowledge makes them even more impressive

Bad example.  :) I assumed they were because everyone calls them St. Paris Graham and I thought there is no way a school with Saint in the name was public.  But I see that St. Paris is the city and Graham High School is the school.  I stand corrected and yes that is impressive.  Learn something everyday.

  4. this is moreso what i was reffering to by being "held back" and not so much at the kindergarten level

I don't agree with that either.  Hopefully your child has made some friends with their fellow classmates and to shift grades would suck.  Now if they are moving to a different school during this transition that is another story but I still don't like it.  I am sure St. Paris Graham or any of those other top private school powerhouses could clue you in with what it does to the kid socially when moved and held back for athletics.

  5. I think it is a parents decision.  I do believe it should be made before they start school at all so it does not socially affect them.  Some kids start puberty later and if both parents were like that it could be a good decision.  It also depends what month the child was born.  My 2 boys were born in September and November so they will not be held back because they will already be old for their grade.  I flunked kindergarten so I was old for my grade and I am extremely happy I was.  My 8th grade year I weighed 80 pounds and my freshman year I couldn't break a hundred.  Finally my sophomore year I got an armpit hair and gained some weight.  For some kids it isn't an advantage and actually levels the playing field.

  6. Love the passive aggressiveness, Y2. I'm beginning to understand why Coach Skinner and his wolfpack haven't honored your pleas to partner on the IHSWCA team duals.

All I can say is don't hate the playa, hate the game. And, anyone that needs a translation, have at it:

    Passive?

  7. What is your deal w/ Cathedral man? I mean dang. Talking smack being a smartass in the Perry vs Cathedral topic too..? Can you just not be jerk or what man? Are you jealous by the 4 state titles the football team won the last four years in a row? What is your deal? You are a straight prick man

Don't take it personal Nutter.  I believe it was instigated by the numerous amount of threads being taken over with "Cathedral should be #1."  Y2 also jumped on the Bellmont fans for thread monopolizing.  All the while beating up on the IHSWCA.  At least he is an equal opportunist *&^*.
