119 Fuller of Brownsburg(10th) vs Moody of Reitz(11th)
Someone posted that Moody won
-
Please post any results from Saturday where two ranked wrestlers battled or where you know someone beat a ranked wrestler.
-
The only scores that I have is unofficial, Welch beat Sims 3-0 in a battle of ranked wrestlers.
-
Could someone post the individual match scores and results from Castle and MD later today?
-
Unofficial final score. MD wins 35-23 over Castle.
-
Could some of you give me some cool points? I go dinged by MD last year predicting the Castle upset of MD.
-

As someone that follows wrestling in the south, Reitz is rated too low. I think they are better this year than Castle and MD.
-
Raley did not wrestle and Indian Creek only brought 5. They did bring a stud in Stephenson who won over Rosebrock 8-3?
Union County, Kentucky did not have many wrestlers, but the one's they had were pretty good
Brown from Castle beat Suwalske in a close match
North 103 pinned Hall from Harrison
Welch trio won all of their matches with no problem
-
Castle went won all but one match in the finals over North.
-
Nice program

MD85,
Your quote was "Seitz will be lucky if he only gets teched. When you get out from under your rock you will find out the world has passed you up. MD is no longer in the tourney and there are not a lot of pins when two quality wrestlers go at it. In your day MD wrestled a lot of big matches and rarely got pinned. Others are capable of the same. Please leave this sight with your hating.
-
Dustin Nosko from MD surprised a lot of people the year Wildeman won. He had been out injured most of the year and lost some matches if I remember correctly in the Regionals, Semi-State because he looked gassed. Ended up pinning a undefeated kid that was a twin who had moved here from Georgia.
-
The last thing we need is MD85 getting on here saying that a Castle kid that just finished 7th in the state will get pinned because a MD freshman did last year. He did not get pinned by Porras on his way to a state championship last week. He did not get pinned by Cook who pinned Harper and I doubt that he will get pinned by a less than 100% Harper. That is why they wrestle though. Sure wish we could get some southern support from our fellow SIAC member.

Looking at Crown Point and Castle final. Crown Point favorite to win seven and Castle favorite to win seven. Granny is getting more nervous.

285 Travis Thomas 11 24-5 285 Tyler Daugherty 11 31-14 Mish wins match M25-20
Harper better be in the lineup or Granny could get jab slapped. Just using Mishawaka as an example of what could happen that would not be shocking, so don't be so confident.
-
I hope that Granny is not reading my post on 10 tough matchups to beat Castle.
-
Before everyone discounts Castle because of the individual State Tourney, keep in mind they did not have any top 4/5 kids in Y2's rankings. What they have is 10 kids that would be rated in the 5-20 range in the state. MD did not do well at individual state last year and came 1 match from beating Mishawaka. Please post similar lineup previews for this weekends teams if you have them. I see Castle being favored in their first matchup, slight favorite in their second matchup, and 1 or 2 matchups short in the championship. Hope this helps others trying to look at matchups.

Is he wrestling in college? Did he play football?
-
Mayerna,
Now that is amazing for a 2A school where they talk about class wrestling. MD wrestling is amazing to say the least. Please name them.
-
Matchick,
I looked at all the Castle draws and they will have to earn their way out of those brackets.
-
Before anyone complains about the draw too much, be glad you are not Ryan Mann at 171. He is a very accomplished wrestler that finished 2nd in the Evansville Semi-state to Tanner Wedding. His reward is a first round matchup with Duckworth. He would then have to beat Atwood and then Wedding. Would have been much better off finishing third or fourth at semi-state. I am sure he thought he caught a break at semi-state when Mappes and Wedding were in the other bracket. Wrestling teaches great life lessons. Work hard, don't complain, somebody always has it worse than you, and life is not always fair.

Johns is laying in the weeds after this weekend. Wrestled great against Raley and looking for a rematch against Wright. If I remember correctly, he lost by one to the state champ Wright last year.
-
Unoffiacially I have Richard 3 and Zeke 2 this year. I thought Zeke looked tough at Semi-state and will be a tough out at state. He is long and strong and wrestling Sims everyday will make him tough.
MD vs Castle.
