    215 daugherty 12

    285 daugherty 12

  3. Raley did not wrestle and Indian Creek only brought 5.  They did bring a stud in Stephenson who won over Rosebrock 8-3?

Union County, Kentucky did not have many wrestlers, but the one's they had were pretty good

Brown from Castle beat Suwalske in a close match

North 103 pinned Hall from Harrison

Welch trio won all of their matches with no problem

  4. MD85,

Your quote was "Seitz will be lucky if he only gets teched.  When you get out from under your rock you will find out the world has passed you up.  MD is no longer in the tourney and there are not a lot of pins when two quality wrestlers go at it.  In your day MD wrestled a lot of big matches and rarely got pinned.  Others are capable of the same.  Please leave this sight with your hating.

  5. The last thing we need is MD85 getting on here saying that a Castle kid that just finished 7th in the state  will get pinned because a MD freshman did last year.  He did not get pinned by Porras on his way to a state championship last week.  He did not get pinned by Cook who pinned Harper and I doubt that he will get pinned by a less than 100% Harper.  That is why they wrestle though.  Sure wish we could get some southern support from our fellow SIAC member.

  6. Mishawaka

    103 Lymen Stoneburner 9 20-5  103 Luke Doud 9 24-20  Mish M4-0

    112 Layten Binion 9 7-0 112 Michael Brown 10 37-7  Castle M4-4

    119 Matt Guerra 11 32-5 119 Jordan Mann 10 25-20 Mish M8-4

    125 Nick Schrader 11 28-14 125 Trevor Doud 11 33-12 Castle M8-7

    130 Josh Harper 12 35-5 130 Andrew Seitz 12 20-4 Mish M11-7

    135 Trent Reinoehl 12 13-3 135 Doug Welch 10 47-4 Castle M11-10

    140 Steven Sandefer 12 44-1 140 Chad Welch 10 42-6 Mish M14-10

    145 Alex White 11 25-15 145 Preston Richard 12 44-4 Castle M14-13

    152 Tim Forte 12 25-7 152 Andrew Pettijohn 12 36-8 Castle C16-14

    160 Richard Morin 11 35-8 160 Corey Weikel 11 34-16 Mish M17-16

    171 Joey Smith 12 18-9 171 Ryan Mann 12 39-9 Castle C19-17

    189 Dustin Boyd 12 31-9 189 Alex Rosebrock 11 40-4 Castle C22-17

    215 Christian Lentz 11 44-4 215 Clay Robison 12 46-2 Mish C22-20

    285 Travis Thomas 11 24-5       285 Tyler Daugherty 11 31-14 Mish wins match M25-20

Harper better be in the lineup or Granny could get jab slapped.  Just using Mishawaka as an example of what could happen that would not be shocking, so don't be so confident.

  7. Before everyone discounts Castle because of the individual State Tourney, keep in mind they did not have any top 4/5 kids in Y2's rankings.  What they have is 10 kids that would be rated in the 5-20 range in the state.  MD did not do well at individual state last year and came 1 match from beating Mishawaka.  Please post similar lineup previews for this weekends teams if you have them.  I see Castle being favored in their first matchup, slight favorite in their second matchup, and 1 or 2 matchups short in the championship.  Hope this helps others trying to look at matchups.

  8. Before anyone complains about the draw too much, be glad you are not Ryan Mann at 171.  He is a very accomplished wrestler that finished 2nd in the Evansville Semi-state to Tanner Wedding.  His reward is a first round matchup with Duckworth.  He would then have to beat Atwood and then Wedding.  Would have been much better off finishing third or fourth at semi-state.  I am sure he thought he caught a break at semi-state when Mappes and Wedding were in the other bracket.  Wrestling teaches great life lessons.  Work hard, don't complain, somebody always has it worse than you, and life is not always fair.
