Dixon was awesome.  He is a tremendous athlete, but we found out that he is also a great teacher of wrestling. 

Purdue head coach Scott Hinkel will be in the room on Saturday Sept. 17 from 1-5.  More details to follow

Congratulations to Mitch Sliga.  Mitch again won the Cadet Freestyle National Championships this past month.  Mitch has now won more cadet national titles than anyone else from Indiana ever. 

Old Dominion:

Old Dominion Coach Mike Dixon will be in town on Aug. 13th.  He would like to be in the room and put on two-session camp to meet us and to let us see how workouts are run at Old Dominion.  Sessions will be from 1:00-3:00 and 3:30-5:00.  Fee is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.  Old Dominion?s program is growing each year and their 2011 recruiting class is currently ranked #7 among NCAA Div 1 programs.  This is a great opportunity for us to get to know him better and for him to get to know us.

We have had an amazing summer at CIA.  There have been represenentatives from over 10 different colleges in our room this spring/summer.  We look forward to seeing the improvement of the kids that supplemented their workouts with us.  Last year there were over 50 kids that trained with us that made it to Semi-State or farther.

Mitch got headlocked for 3 then got turned to go down 5-0 in the Hopkins match.  He then scored 1pt takedown, gut and held to make it 5-4 at :30 sec. mark.  He scored the fall in scramble after that. 

Congrats Mitch.  Anyone who's been around him knows that his work ethic and decision making matches his God given talents.

(and anyone that has ever seen me with a ping pong paddle or lawn jart can tell you of my stellar athleticism!)

Mitch is in the finals and will wrestle for his 3rd Cadet National Title.  Great Job and good luck tonight.  You've earned it.

We are starting to put our groups together for the spring/summer of 2011 and there are still a few spots left.  There were over 50 semi-state qualifiers and over 25 state qualifiers that supplemented their training with us last summer.

Workouts for our high school groups are on Sundays and Mondays and start March 6th.  Please contact us if you're interested in getting into the room.
