  1. Thanks to those of you who have voiced your kind words about Josh. He is a great kid from a great family. He is one of the hardest working kids we've ever had in our program. He pushes himself to near exhaustion every day in practice.  He will never lose a match because of being outworked.  After his disappointing loss to Brooks in the 5th & 6th consolation match, the first thing he said to us as he walked off the mat was "Coach, can we lift on Monday?"

NICE!! sounds like he lives by the mantra of "Whatever it Takes"

  2. from what I understood it was the weight progression and since he had weighed so much @ the beginning  he hadnt had enough time to lose all of the weight. Either way I hope that this match happens cause it will be a barn burneer

  3. for one that article was a load of crap just like last year with trent rieneol how he was going to contend for a state title.  this is the same thing just a feel good story for a misawalke punk who went there for wrestling i dont understand why we were so surprised he left! synder is just a great recruitor

So, Stahl went to Mishawaka for wrestling? What did he have to gain from that, being the #1 ranked wrestler @ 52 or a better chance to get to the finals? Hmm, he has already been down that road. Maybe he just got tired of the CONSTANT stroking that everyone on the west side of Elkhart  gives to Corpe. So, now he is a "Mishawaka punk" Dude get over yourself! Last year you were probabally starting a line to get an autograph from the next Memorial State Champion. Sadly enough he hi is another champ Mishawaka has , as far as the recruiting line, dont fool yourself Memorial does a pretty good job of recruiting too considering the Stahl boys were from what side of town???? Oh yeah they were from the Elkhart Central side  of town.

  4. The only change since the Triacoff was @ 145 Rihonel(sp) out and Darius Marshall in. Mishawaks sends 14 to regionals, in that regional is Penn, SB Riley  and SB Clay. Individually, they are that good and as a team they are even better. on a side note they didn 't lose a match in the team regionals. Watch out this team is on one hell of a roll and they have gotten stronger as the season  has gone on.
