or it'll just be more of the same!Good new for IU has basically everyone is returning next year, so they do have something to grow from. Question is will their new assistance be enough of a change to help them get there.
-
I did see on Flo that Ethan Raley will be @ IU next year so we'll see where he lands

sadly you do get bashed here but I don't recall stevan micic ever calling you out or even posting about you.

Congrats Nick, jimtown has been waiting for a state champ for a long time.... You delivered Match off the night IMO! Two great wrestlers with bright futures. Man those Wabash coaches were salivating heavily waiting for you! D1 IMO

I know this may be beating a dead horse but why didn't you bring this complaint to the coach face to face??? Kind of a puss move to call it out here. Tell ya what, I'll send you the $5 if that makes you feel better!! You also need to keep in min that"your" team it's losing a big batch of seniors this year too and you just might find"your" team in the same boat..What a joke,, thanks for waiting 20 minutes of my life with your insightful opinions!!

Jay Franko at 106 from Jimtown is 28-10, but everyone he has lost to is good. Previously ranked Delawrence Gayfield, #1 Nathan Boston, SQ and previously ranked Zack Davis twice, Kayla Miracle, #4 at 113 Matt Frane, previously ranked at 113 Forrest Glogouski, Tony Vaughn(Caught), Jacob Hartman(Caught again), and one more I forgot. His record is still pretty good especially for a freshman, but he's even better than it shows.
And yes, I did just take the time to go through every meet we've had this year and try to remember every single match.
Jay Franko is good and I know this may be splitting hairs but lets give Tony Vaughn(Caught), Jacob Hartman(Caught again), their just dues. It doesnt matter how you lost but that you lost

Oh you know we will.... 126 and 138 looks like its got the makings I also saw that at 220 5 of the top 10 in the rankings come out of Merrillville...... Who gets left out?

Abe Hall dec Dominique Stauffer 3-2 in sudden death ot the first week of the season. Id say that was a quality loss in the sense that now you know what youre going up against and to beat him you have got to kick it in the ass in your mental and physical training

My vote for most impressive is Tommy Forte. He dominated everyone he faced and he's only a freshman.
LOL, 16 year old freshman!
-
He looked even better accepting his award in headgear and singlet, posing for the camera *SMH*Brooks just won in dominating fashion.... he looked really good
-
It will only cost you 16 dollars to find out the final results...
Nope, Binion isnt on the brackets

My son has had the same problem, 3 concussions in 10 months and we have decided to retire him at the ripe old age of 15. I do know how hard it is for you and your family (especially Andre) to deal with this. For us as tough as it was to tell him your time has come to stop, it wasnt that hard because we knew the right decision to make was for his future. Good luck to your son and your family, youll be in my thoughts

I know that he didnt win but I thought that Jared brooks had the classiest moment. He went up and hugged Mason Todd and told him good job!

what time do the doors open??

Kids like Nick Weisjahn burst onto the scene when he gave Eric Galka his first high school loss there. Or when Drake Stein came out of nowhere to win it two years ago and instantly people are asking "who is this kid?" There are many more examples, but those two are two that recently stick out to me.
I remember the first time I went and Joey Smith from Mish finished 2nd and it was all a buzz that this was his 1st varstiy tournament. very cool

One thing to keep in mind in comparing Michigan to Indiana is that in Michigan, folkstyle is run by MYWA and freestyle and greco are USA wrestling so it is a different ballgame up there. One thing I can say is that I have been to many MYWA events and thay are run very well 700 - 9oo kids, start @ 10am (on time) and out with 4-5 matches by 3-4 pm because they use matside pairings exclusivley. I sure wish that the ISWA would start this practice

WOW! thats impressive lots of names you will hear in Indy in the future

Any results yet/
