Congratulations to Returning All-American and highest retuning placer at 133 Travis Barroquillo who will represent Indiana Tech and the NAIA at the 2012 NWCA wrestling All-Star classic November 3rd in Washington DC.

Lots of Former Indiana wrestlers in action this Friday. Come out and watch some great college wrestling the night before semi-state.
The Indiana Tech wrestling team is hosting their final home meet of the season on Friday, Feb. 10 against Calumet College of St. Joe in the Warrior Athletic Center beginning at 7 p.m.
Tech is putting on a WHITE OUT for their final dual of the season. Everyone coming is encouraged to wear white. The team is encouraging everyone to get there early because seats are limited. The first 100 fans wearing white will receive a free foam takedown finger.
There will be Indiana Tech gear given away during intermission and a professional DJ will be entertaining the crowd up until the meet starts and during intermission.
Come out and cheer on your Warriors!
ALL Teams that have a Semi-State qualifier receive free admission into the event. Please email coach ester or myself that your school is coming. Otherwise, admission is $5 at the door.

Indiana Tech University (Fort Wayne) competes this Thursday against #3 Lindsey Wilson. This will be Indiana Tech's FIRST EVER competition, along with the first college wrestling meet ever held in Fort Wayne. Wrestling Starts at 6:00 in the Warrior Athletic Center. Get there early to grab a good seat since seating might be limited.

This years Team Indiana Folkstyle Nationals trip is right around the corner. We are taking 40 wrestlers (cadets & Juniors) on this trip and spots are filling up fast. Please contact Brady Eppert (Folkstyle Director) or Thomas Pompei (Team Leader) if you are interested in going. We had a great trip last year bringing home lots of hardware. Below is all the trip information and a link to the ISWA website to find the forms you will need to complete.

TRIP OBJECTIVE
This trip is being offered as an opportunity for Indiana Cadet and Junior age division wrestlers to experience more competition at the national level.
This trip is on a FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE BASIS. A wrestler need only participate in the ISWA Folkstyle State Finals on March 16-17, 2013 at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. By participating in this event (and submitting the attached paperwork and trip fee), you are qualified to be on this trip.
DATES & TRANSPORTATION
Bus will depart from the ISWA office at noon on Thursday, April 4th.
Office Location: 5715 Churchman Avenue, Suite “L”, Indianapolis IN, 46203
The team will arrive back at approximately 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 7th.
Wrestlers will be supervised at all times by our Team Indiana coaching staff.
The trip will include a visit to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame DAN Gable Museum in Waterloo, Iowa
COST - $300.00
Cost includes: Entry Fee, Long & Short sleeve T-shirt, MMA style Shorts, Singlet,
Transportation and Lodging. The cost of food is not included in the price of the trip.
WRESTLERS
There will be approximately 40 wrestlers accepted for this trip.
To secure a spot fill out the acceptance form, attached to this flyer, and send to the Team Leader. Cadet& Junior entries for this event will be capped at 1300 wrestlers
so SIGN UP early to guarantee your spot on this trip.
USA Wrestling does not charge for adjusting weight classes, even at weigh-ins
TEAM MEETING
A Team Meeting will be held at Folkstyle State.
All who register will be notified of the exact time and location of the meeting.
