  1. So you think if a match is out of reach it's okay for a kid to lose the match because of table errors...? Moron. And there was no assistant ref, unless you call an assistant ref sit'n on his butt. I'm not an Irish fan, but that was the first round match I was paying attention to. It just ticks me off when people think they can say "Well the match was already over anyways" It's about the kids man, not us.

Easy on the Moron comment. I'm talking about the manner in which the call was argued, he might as well have just dropped F-bombs on the table help. I just don't think that was they way to represent your school. And as I said in a previous post, there should have been 2 referees on the mat for all of the rounds not just the finals.
  2. I'm not sure "wow" is how I'd describe the win. Did I like others think that it was a bit unexpected because of the success Cashe has had on the collegiate level, sure, but when we treat it as a fluke I think you don't give Kyle enough cedit. We're talking about a 3 time state champ who won 187 of the 189 high school matches he competed in, he came to Purdue with a bit of a pedigree. I know how hard he works and how great of a kid he is and I couldn't be more happy for he and his family. Kyle and Cashe will be good for one another and push the others best out. Clearly I'm a big fan of Kyle's, but I also know you don't keep a former all-American on the bench without a fight.

Well said! Awesome cradle, big win! Congrats to Kyle
  3. You need to include the guys that laid the foundation, like Dave Yeager Champion

In 83 or 84 he beat a pretty good Mark Toriamena (from Leo that was  NJCAA & champ who then

    Wrestled at Oklahoma State)

    I can't vote for myself.

    Dave Yager

    1983 3rd 126lbs

    1984 1st 132lbs
