  1. Indeed man In Iran, women are allowed to participate in martial arts, including wrestling, judo, taekwondo, and karate. However, they must wear attire that is consistent with Islamic dress codes, which includes covering the head and body in loose-fitting clothing that does not reveal the shape of the body. This requirement for Islamic dress codes poses a challenge for women who want to participate in martial arts competitions, as many sports require form-fitting uniforms that enable freedom of movement. In the case of wrestling, for example, the standard uniform is a singlet that is designed to fit snugly against the body to allow the athlete to move easily. To address this issue, Iranian women's wrestling teams have come up with a solution in the form of an Islamic-approved wrestling singlet. The new uniform consists of a loose-fitting long-sleeved top and leggings that provide full coverage, along with a headscarf to cover the hair. The design of the uniform still allows for ease of movement, while also adhering to Islamic dress codes. However, even with this new attire, there are still some restrictions on what Iranian women's wrestling teams can wear. For example, the traditional blue and red wrestling singlets that are commonly worn in international competitions are not considered acceptable by the Iranian government, as they do not meet Islamic dress code requirements. As a result, Iranian female wrestlers have had to compete in alternative uniforms, such as the new Islamic-approved uniform, which may put them at a disadvantage in international competitions. It is worth noting that if there is a change in the Iranian government, it is possible that the policy on Islamic dress codes for women in sports could change as well. However, any changes to the dress code policy would likely be subject to extensive debate and discussion, and it is unclear how quickly such changes could be implemented.
