  1. Savadkhouhi defeated Ali Reza Karimi. Last I read he is going to face Azimi in the finals. Little Yaz lost in 74 to Adel Panahiam. Emami is not participating in this event.
  2. I would not write off Azarpira I love Kamran, but I just think he is way too small for 97 he is natural 86, looked small for 92 but his skills overcame his size disadvantage
  3. I just read about Golji’s loss apparently he had asked for a delay due to his injury , but it was not granted. He fell behind 5-1 and did not continue. I am not a fan of his, but feel bad for him
  4. @Uwwdoc is this true? https://www.khabarvarzeshi.com/news/441600/شوک-دوم-به-تیم-ملی-کشتی-ایران-قاسم-پور-هم-بعد-از-حسن-یزدانی

  6. After reading about the league final match, I think the buggiest news is that every Iranian that wrestled a Russian lost, including little Yazdani. This does not bode well
  7. The title says something like “shocking news right before the Olympics “ it just says he resigned , does not say anything about the reason
  8. Apparently Pejman Dorostkar has resigned and Kaveh is now the head coach of Iran
  9. which weight classes were these two matches in?
  10. Wow, the kid who won the world u23 looks pretty legit look at him with a double leg against DT https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cyj-65ALLFp/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  11. I think you missed the key point. Yes, many countries refuse to issue visas to citizens of other countries. UWW is obligated to picks hosts that will not refuse visas to citizens of counties. Iran had not been given the opportunity to host a world championship, because it refused to grant visas to Israelis athletes. I personally agree with the UWW’s decison not to grant the hosting roles because of that. it is really pretty simple, you want to host a championship? Great, you yoi have to give visas to all participants. UWW should have never let Albania host the championship. I think counties like Japan, Canada, New Zealand, and most western and Northern European countries are far better choices.
  12. پاسخ رسمی اتحادیه جهانی کشتی به ندادن ویزا به ایران (khabarvarzeshi.com)
  13. The non Iranian athletes are also cheated because this ridiculous maneuver. Both Hendrickson and Massoumi would have benefited from such a match.
  14. This is absolutely incompetence by UWW. UWW should have the authority to ban specific countries, and that by itself is questionable. Hosting countries should not have the authority to ban countries. UWW should never pick a country to host without first confirming that they will issue visas to all the participants.
  15. The best U23 wrestlers are too busy winning medals at the senior games. I personally think U-23 games are unnecessary.
  16. Khari was up 8-1 and then gave up 18 points.

  18. I would venture to guess while the question was about world titles the intent of the question was Olympic/world gold title 97+ was the heavyweight in those days with no upper limit in weight so you had people like Chris Taylor and eve soukhte Sarai who weight more than 125 Kg
  19. Medved won a total of 7 world gold and 3 Olympic gold 4 of his world gold and 2 of his Olympic gold were in heavyweight
  20. Very impressed with Alizadeh’s par terre
  21. Alexander Medved won about 10 in a row in heavyweight
  22. I agree it's WAY too early for Masoumi to give up and start comparing himself to the Ghassempour situation. Look at how much Zare improved from 18 to year, there is every reason to expect Masoumi to get a lot better. I do think he has a chance of beating Zare for 2028
