  1. If he wasn't 100% why would you pick him to win?  Or even draw attention to him.  Wouldn't you want fly "under the radar"?

I knew his shoulder injury had been a nagging pain every now and then all season, but he still managed to wrestle very well despite this setback.  His ribs seemed to be holding up well and I was told the night before that he was feeling great.  It was when he woke up on Saturday that his ribs began aching again and the knee pains first arrived.  By then I had obviously already made my picks.  So his pain was mostly unknown until competition day.  Last I heard he felt great so I assumed he'd be ready to go come Saturday...and I was wrong

  2. Since this is how pretty well everyon's pics are going. These are mine.

Broukal over Wilson and James?  ???

  3. I will entertain it a little Ill take LeCount in 3ot on an escape I say score will be 5 to 4 in the best match of the tourn.

Going with a thriller I see  8)  I pick Lecount all the way,  but I have him besting Forte in regulation late in the 3rd with a 3-1 victory.

  4. That is spelling not grammar.

I was simply correcting him on the spelling of the name, because he is aware of how it's spelled.  Then pointing out that my grammar is better than his by 10 fold.  Even thought I'm half his age, and he insists that I am someone I'm not.  Quite frankly I don't want any problems on a message board for a high school sport.  So my work here is done.

  5. Stone Neese from Brownsburg early in the year.  Not sure the details but Chambers is a BEAST!  I'd like to see him and Rypel meet up in the finals.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Neese bested him by a point in a tightly contested match early in the season.

I agree with most.  Though I think 106 is a toss-up between Bailey and Konrath.  I haven't had the pleasure of watching Bailey yet,  but I did see Konrath win this weekend in dominant fashion, and was impressed with his wrestling.  Think it can go either way.  There I agree up to 132, where I believe Wilson will beat James for a 3rd consecutive time.  They've all been close, but I believe Wilson is better late and has a better ability to score when he needs to. He creates offense. My final issue lies in the 182 lb class.  After watching Chambers win Semi-State in rather dominate fashion, I firmly believe he's a legitimate title contender.  Though it will be tough to beat Rypel, it can be done.

  7. After watching Red at semi state he will have the largest margin of victory in my guesstimation.

I haven't got the chance to watch him wrestle yet, but from what I know and have heard, I would go as far as to say the same thing

  8. It's Orndorf's mom...  You hit the nail on the head BB145.  She also messaged me about him.  She has a creative writing background and by her post she has pretty good grammar.

He did transfer to TH South from Sullivan in the middle of the season about 3 weeks before sectionals.

    Navy80 (former Sullivan volunteer coach)

First, it isn't Orndorff's mom.  This "she" is a him, and I have you know I got a 100% on my semester lit project in English 9 this year. So the only thing you hit on the head was yourself dimwit

  9. are you sure you were a sectional qualifier?........lol....... ;D

I think he found the internet today. Thinks he has to post nonstop and start threads that already have been started 100 times this year.

Actually, I just didn't wanna scroll through 4 months of posts to see what people thought, so I asked.  No harm no foul.  I will admit that I'm new to the message board, but that's no reason to be hostile.  I simply misread what he typed.  My apologies.  I don't see why you feel the need to be rude to someone who simply didn't understand what he posted

  10. Orndorff isn't a Terre Haute native is he? Come from the land of Sullivan?  And btw I guessed a heavyweight from da region :)

No I believe you are correct.  Transferred halfway this season if I'm not mistaken.  But like I said, I just made those predictions from what I saw on the mat, and it didn't turn out that way.  We've all made bad predictions.  And I'm definitely not a heavyweight  :P

  11. Your name is Prideof132 and you have been posting mostly about Orndorff of Terre Haute South who wrestles 132... so I'm going to guess a heavyweight wrestler from da region

    [/qu

It's just a username.  And I only posted my opinion on the young man.  He's a solid wrestler.  Once I heard his name start circulating I went and watched him wrestle and made my thoughts known based off of what I have seen.  I will inform you though that I am not a Terre Haute native.

  12. So you're saying that Davis won because Orndorff had an injury? He is a 3x state qualifier who beat both Ward and Anderson handily.

No.  I'm saying had Orndorff been 100% healthy, I believe he could kept the match closer, and possibly won by a point or 2.  I am in no way saying Davis won due to injury.  I've seen Davis and know that he's a solid wrestler.  He earned every bit of those wins yesterday.  I just feel that it would have been a far more intense match if he would have been healthy and ready to wrestle.

  13. Nice job to Anderson turning around a major at mooresville vs todrank.

Definitely a bracket buster for me.  I did not see Anderson coming back from a 16-2 defeat last time these two matched up.  But great job to this kid getting it down when it counts and coming through with a HUGE win over a toughly ranked opponent in Todrank.
