It is interesting that Avon is #9 even though HSE (#10) beat them in a head to head? I'm sure there are other in the same boat, I just thought it was interesting.
Avon was missing at least two of their top guys when they faced HSE, Bellmont and WC.

#15 Brett Henson over #3 Quinn York 4-2.

Here's a couple results from the last time these guys have wrestled in youth tournaments
ISWA State 2013
Quarterfinal: Colton Cummings (Region Wrestling Academy) over Breyden Bailey (Columbus East Wrestling Club) (Dec 5-3)
1st Place Match: Drew Hildebrandt (Penn Wrestling Club) over Paul Konrath (PAWS Elite Wrestling Club) (SV-1 6-4)
Cummings and Hildebrant have split this season, with Cummings winning at Al Smith and Hildebrandt winning at Semi-State, both close matches decided in the final seconds.
Konrath and Bailey may not be the locks some people think they are.
Both Baily and Egli beat Hildebrandt at Team State. A little bit more current.

220 - Gunnar Larson (Avon) beat Ben Schoolcraft (Martinsville) 6-1.
And FYI, his name is spelled with an "a" (Gunnar) and he's in 9th grade not 10th.

It doesn't matter AT ALL which sectional is harder for determining whether the top 4 have every mathematical chance to advance through regional. If the best 4 are at one sectional, they'll all win in the first round of regional and advance. If only the champ from one sectional is top 4 quality, only he will win and the top 3 from the other sectional will win because they won't face him. ...and so on...
That makes perfect sense. But you're assuming that each sectional has the top 4 in the correct order. And that isn't true because sectionals don't have "true" 2nd's. Say a #3 in sectional A didn't get a chance to beat sectional A's #2, then he has to face B's #2 who he has a 50-50 chance of beating. And say he could easily beat B's #3 as well as A's #2. But he didn't get a chance to face either one.

You seem to be implying that somebody (among those you mentioned) at this weight placed 4th at Evansville. Last Saturday at Evansville it was:
1) Hudkins 2) Gomez 3) Ferguson 4) Egli
Or if you meant to say Merrillville:
1) Black 2) Reitz 3) Hatch 4) Hardesty
I noticed because I was pulling for the Semi-State Final of Hudkins v Gomez. It was a re-match of Regionals. Both matches were very close in score.
