anyone else having a problem signing up a senior??? flyer says HIGH SCHOOL, ISWA.com says thru Junior division and the date range they are using is 1/1/1996 to 12/31/1999???

Saw a lot of inconsistency at the Northview sectionals too. Mostly due to the tight quarters and the officials wanting to keep the wrestlers safe, which is understandable but could have been done better. College rule would be an improvement but with walls and bleachers to contend with I don't know about safety.

Anyway of fixing the issue with you not getting their transcripts? and who should you have gotten them from?

Some 10 sectional locations have enough room to run 4 mats.  Unfortunatley Northview does not have that facility.  They could have went with a three mat final, but showcasing the kids in the spotlight is the right thing to do in my opinion.   Past the sectional level many kids wont get to the finals and winning a sectional title should be viewed as an achievement not to be taken for granted.  Why would you train so hard all year only to hurry up the most important day?  

 

To each their own as far as staying for awards.  But in my years of watching the sport, teams that leave tournaments early and don't stick around for the finals or awards tend to make a habit of it.

1st year With a new Coach and a new sectional I think we are far from making anything a habit with the exception of winning.

Next year we will, with some luck, have more sectional opponents on our schedule and I'm sure that will go along way to bridge any gaps that might have existed this season.

Where's the 152 and 170 brackets of the bloomington south regional? ???

NK did great bringing home a 4th place finish! 

We are very proud of our team and can't wait to see what they do at regionals. We left it all on the mat and lived to fight another day!

Should of hung around for your awards and team placement!! Lot of good finals match's!

We didn't want to wear out our already questionable welcome, plus there are more efficient formats that could have been used to run the tournament.  We were in contact with several other 10 team sectionals around the area that were 2 rounds ahead of us at any given time.

I have 2 NK wrestlers making it to regionals!  285 and a wildcard! 

6 qualifiers 3 alternates....that's a whole mess of wild cards!

Think there will be a few surprises from North Knox since they got thrown in to this sectional at the last minute and didn't have a chance to see most of these wrestlers till now. Never underestimate your opponent!
