  1. I agree that Boonville will be solid as they do return almost everyone, but the teams I mentioned in my first post were teams I feel like that have a legitimate shot at winning the Sectional, in my own personal opinion, I don't feel like Boonville has enough to compete to win the team race. They will have some individuals that compete and make their weight class more competitive, as Hemmings and Allen are 2 guys that nobody should look past. Whatever weight they end up, yes they could win that weight class. Since Mat Medic cleared the air on Hemmings, maybe he will clear the air on what weight Allen will be at????
  2. Boonville is in this Sectional, I can see Hemmings and Allen making a run at a sectional title. I would assume they would be around 138 and 145. I didn't hear about Todrank, I just completely missed him. But with him gone, that definitely hurts Reitz but helps Gibson Southern.
  3. This could be a wide open Sectional team wise. Reitz lost a lot from last years team, but they will still be tough down low with Ferguson, Bruce, Davis, Reese, Reigel returning. Memorial will be tough as always up and down the lineup, with Arney, Williams, Petrig, Stotlar, Brown, and Barnes returning. Castle will be tough as well, Brown, Schnell, Lockyear, and I believe a solid freshman coming in as well. Heritage Hills will be solid up top with Rickenbaugh, Konerding, Fisher, and Baker returning, and some solid wrestlers in the middle that could surprise some guys. Mt.Vernon brings back a lot with a solid incoming freshman class coming in, Keller, Suar, Wilson, Hoehn, Whoberry all return. I feel like any of these teams could win it. Early Predictions (Not sure who is in each weight class, some are guesses): 106: Konrath MV 113: Ferguson R 120: Arney M 126: Suar MV 132: Davis R 138: Schulz HH 145: Schnell C 152: Hoehn MV 160: VanHook R 170: Rickenbaugh HH 182: Konerding HH 195: Brown M 220: Barnes M 285: Kyles H
  4. I have yet to see Reitz wrestle this year so I haven't got to see them in action, I will put out a final prediction the week of after I see everybody wrestle. But I'm sure Kuhn does look great, he always does, but Brown looks great as well. Its whoever shows up on that day and brings their best! Those 2 could go back and forth from SIAC up until the Semi-State.
  5. I've made predictions before, but a few have recently switched weight classes, so I'll throw out some names to maybe get some discussion going... 106: Ferguson 113: Brown, Kuhn, Mastison, Suar, Arney 120: Davis, Myers, Wargel, Ramsey, Chamlee 126: Welch, Hemmings, Williams, ToDrank, Wilson 132: Wedding, Johns, Schulz, Meiring 138: Allen, Schnell, Hoehn, Schessele, Reese 145: Petrig, Jochim, Riegel, Whoberry 152: Henshaw, Witte, ??????? 160: Rynkiewich, Wimpleberg, Huelsing, Burden 170: Rickenbaugh, Stotlar, Buxton, Merriweather 182: Konerding, Burden, Duncan, ?????? 195: Salkill, Brown, ?????? 220: Boehm, Barnes, ?????? 285: ???????
  6. According to the Regional results last year, Witte didn't qualify for the Semi-State. But I still think he will compete to win the Sectional at 152 this year.
  7. Thanks! That was a name I wasn't too familiar with.
  8. Oh ok, ya I found it unreal to see MD FF a weight class. I'm sure they will have somebody ready to compete come Sectional time.
  9. There ya go! Thanks for the info! That could be a tough weight class that anybody could win come Regional time.
  10. Yeah in the paper it had Weinzapfel winning 7-1. Not sure on the Allen vs Schnell match? But just last weekend Schnell beat Schroeder of MD, so that is why I give it to him right now. Sectional is a long ways off though, that weight could be a toss up with Schnell, Allen, Hoehn, and whoever Memorial and Reitz throws out there.
  11. Since we got the Castle Sectional predictions going I figured I would get the Central going as well...overall this is a pretty weak Sectional. I could see MD winning 12 of the Weight Classes.... 106: Whoever MD has here. 113: Lehman- MD 120: Johnson- MD 126: Braye- N, not sure who MD has here? 132: Pierre- MD 138: Schroeder- MD 145: Kemper- C 152: Kelley- C 160: Parkinson- MD 170: MD 182: Bassmier- MD 195: Lane- N 220: Pace- C, not sure who MD has here? It was a FF last weekend. 285: Wright- MD
  12. Team Predictions would be: Memorial Heritage Hills Reitz Mt.Vernon Castle Boonville Harrison South Spencer Tell City Bosse
  13. From what I've seen so far with results in the paper and on this board...my early predictions would be: 106: Ferguson- R 113: Brown- C 120: Davis- R 126: Welch- C 132: Wedding- M 138: Schnell- C 145: Petrig- M 152: Huelsing- M 160: Henshaw- M 170: Rickenbaugh- HH 182: Konerding- HH 195: Salkill- SS 220: Boehm- HH 285: Toss-up???
  14. Yeah I agree it is definitely too early to know, but just trying to get some discussions going down here in Southern Indiana. My early predictions would be.... 106 Ferguson R 113 Brown C, Kuhn and Mastison makes this a tough weight class. 120 Davis R 126 Welch C 132 Wedding M 138 toss up between Allen B and Hoehn MV, heard Reitz has a solid kid here as well. 145 Elderkin NP 152 Henshaw M, McDaniels is no longer as Boonville I heard. 160 Burden SS 170 Rickenbaugh HH 182 Konerding HH 195 Salkill SS 220 Boehm HH 285 ????? I would say Memorial is the team to beat, they have a lot of returning wrestlers coming back from last years team. Reitz and Heritage Hills have about 4-5 studs but I don't know if they have enough to pass up Memorial, but should know more in the upcoming weeks. Should be a fun Sectional to watch.
  15. Any predictions for this Sectional with the new Sectional alignment out...
