Centerville wrestled at Rushville..had a good showing going 3-1. The loss came to Connersville....solid team...have some young wrestlers, but they looked pretty good

This past weekend, Garrett Hittle (Rushville) pinned Hooten (Batesville) in the first period at 195.

Looking at the last years results on teams with placers this is what I got also I added my own little predictions.

I think East Noble and Cathedral will flip flop...I think these are definitely the top two teams in this tournament though. I think Lebanon will be in the mix in AA as well. Not sure if UC will have enough horses to win class A. Watch out for Benton Central. They should make some noise too.

Why start rumors lionfan. U coach your team and Connersville will coach theirs. He was sick and would have missed weight so no way he would weigh in. He was 152.1 at new castle and we wanted to see what he had against James, and trying move guys to win as a team.

These "rumors" came from your wrestlers. I am glad he bumped up to wrestle James. That's good for him. I like the kid and want to see him do well, just stating what I heard.

I heard he missed weight by 152.1 > So looks like he will make it by Spartan

James I believe is also going 160 but not sure if by Spartan

Steele didn't wrestle this past weekend either and from what I heard, he was 11 pounds over and didn't even show up...

As of the opening weekend, Layne Harnishfeger  from Franklin County was at 195 and is staying there all season and Garrett Hittle from Rushville will also be at 195 this season.

no way he is 138...can you verify that? he was like 95lbs last year

Refitted weighed in at 134 Saturday at Knightstown

Rushville will also be there this year.

Rushville hosts a 5-way...teams include Westfield, Franklin County, Seymour, and TC Howe

Rushville goes to Knightstown over Thanksgiving break. Teams include Connersville, Knightstown, Union County, Randolph Southern, Indianapolis Manuel and Rushville.

After watching McCloskey Friday night I thought he would win, but it's his own fault he lost...I'm not a McClurg fan but he did what he had to do to win and that's all that matters...yes I thought there were some bad calls as well, but that happens...hopefully McCloskey can get his next year

Does anyone know if the Wrestling Finals will be telecast on TV 

at some point like last year?

Also is there anywhere to find matches from the semi finals? I'm interested in watching some of those matches again...thanks

I noticed a few wrestlers (mostly none champions) whose original starting position had them going out first or second round.  However, they instead wrestled a great tournament, beat out some of the top guys in the state and in doing so secured an high spot on the podium.  I'd need to glance back over my brackets when I have a moment to point out all of them, but they deserve some credit for a great tournament run too.

Agreed...the two that come to my mind are Allen at 195 and Garland at 285...both fourth at Semi State and both wrestled under the lights...not too shaby
