Congrats Cory from the Schjolls.

I spoke with Bluemonster last night and he had turned the updated rankings over to Y2 to post, so now we wait on Y2.

160 FC, 170 Bloom S, 182 Bloom N.

Perry Meridian won all weights except 132,160,170 and 182. Bloomington S. won 132, not sure who won the others.

There was no lead, it was 1-1 and the match was decided on the stalling call. The first call came from Stewart not cutting Tonte fast enough on a stand up early in period 2. That one is not being debated, I am just explaining it so no one assumes he was hit twice in the 3rd for running in circles or something. Tonte had him in a collar tie and Stewart was pulling away from it when the call was made. Stewart had no more incentive to stall than Tonte did at that point in the match. This should have been decided in OT.
If you saw the match Stewart was backing away the entire match, truth be told stalling should have been called a lot earlier. With that said it was a heck of a match and considering this is only Stewarts second week on the mat. Great match by both wrestlers.

Colton Cummings was pinned by Davey Clayton a couple weeks ago at Lowell in 13 sec.

Great work.

Lafayette Jeff was looking for a tournament this weekend.

Cathedral and Avon were missing kids early in the year. They are back now. Avon 28 Brownsburg 26. WC and Penn are the best 2 teams in a dual. Then PM. After that, flip a coin.
WC and Penn are the best two? It was not in a dual format but Perry beat WC at Capital City Classic and Marion County. Top 3 in no order EMD Penn Perry. I would put WC a strong 4.

Prayers for you and your family.

Any good matchups to look for?

What teams are at Lowell 12/20 ?

Not sure about rules on shoulder brace but knee brace the wrestler takes with him/her to weigh ins for ref to inspect and approve. Ortho Indy has a store in Greenwood with numerous braces also I would try Dicks sporting goods.

After reading all of the other responses I agree that there is more to this. The one thought that comes to mind that no one else mentioned is, can it be possible that the wrestler that won the wrestle off but did not get the spot is great in the room but not as good in true matches? Does the looser of the wrestler off beat the wrestlers that beat the winner? Just some thoughts, good luck to the wrestler and the team.

Opening day is here and a lot of questions linger. Will Franklin repeat as IHSWCA dual champions? Will Cathedral repeat as IHSSA champs? Can Mater Dai, Penn Or Perry Meridian return to their powerhouse status? Will the Lee's live up to all the hype? Who will repeat as IHSSA individual champions? Just a few questions out there that are on the minds of wrestling fans across this fine state.

Thanks Coach, I left you a voice mail.

Does anyone have info on this camp. i hear it is a big man camp.
???

Correct because Cathedral had the best dual team this year....
If they had the best dual team why the 3 or 4 loses? They did win the IHSAA team state by having a few big guns but to say they were the best dual team is silliness until they beat the dual champs in Franklin!!! I am not a Franklin person but to be the team you have to beat the team.

This is awesome news, Rulon is a super nice guy and an inspiration. If you have not read his book I recommend that you do its very good.

??? Turn out for tournament hurt by actually having to weigh in? Sounds like someone is afraid of not making weight or has not had to make weight previously (honor system). I believe this can bring out more wrestlers that have had to wrestler obviously bigger wrestlers that have manipulated the "honor system". If you were honest before what is the issue with having to actually weigh in?

Tournament ran very smooth, great competition and awesome awards.
