  1. If I rank Chantz I also must rank Skyler Messman of New Haven.  If I rank Messman I must also rank Tommy Kendal of Elkhart Memorial and then Casey Adams of Jimtown.  Kendal went 0-2 and Adams went 1-2 at the Al Smith also, so I really don't think they deserves to be ranked at the moment.

Makes total sense now that I see the whole picture

  2. lol, I don't think Y2 gives too many points to guys that beat someone who "used to" be ranked.....

When he beats someone ahead of him, then he gets considered, you don't make your way into the rankings by losing close matches

I totally agree.but when chantz wrestled him he wss currently ranked at the time. Chantz bumped up to wrestle him & controlled the match.all I'm saying is don't be surpised to see him up there

  3.

    112 lbs.

    1. JORDAN GILBERT WHITKO

    2. NICK CRUME JIMTOWN

    3. Abraham Que- Elkhart Central

    4. Alex Richman- Heritage

    5. Gabe Flores- Marion

    6. Skyler Phillips- Yorktown

    7. Derek Roe- Adams Central

    8. Tony Benedict- Kokomo

Derek Roe of adams central beat skyler phillips and benedict bad last year. pinned schyler and handly beat benedict, gilber is 119 same with crume, you also have to throgh chandler carrol in there, him vrs roe should be a great match

  4. I'm just giving Roe the benefit of the doubt. Shaw got 4th at sectional because he couldn't stay off his back. I think Roe vs Shaw will be a good match, but I think Shaw will give up some back points that will cost him. If Shaw can stay off his back it might be a different story. However, I think the winner of the Shaw/Roe match will be in the finals against Stevie. Regardless, I think Stevie wins 112 easily ;D, especially after his performance at sectional.

i hered stevie looked great! but how do u think shaw and roe will do first round? does shaw look that great. and what was the score 2 him and the yorktown kid?

  5. Bryant is the #4 seed because he lost 11-0 vs Gonzales, and lost 8-7 vs Shaw. The Yorktown kid has a better winning percentage. Gonzales pinned Shaw at county so thats why he is #1. Bryant beat Randolf at Muncie Central Invite. Thats how the seeding was done.

    My Predicted order:

    1. Gonzales by fall over

    2. Shaw

    3. Bryant by dec over

    4. Phillips

have u seen phillip wrestle? is he that good?

  6. Anyone who gets 29 wins with a single loss is a good wrestler, but a lack of competition can hurt people in the long run... I still think Roe gets to semi state. Do I think he'll win regional? No, simply because he'll have Gonzales, Shaw, and Bryant coming out of the Delta sectional, which I think he can wrestle right with Shaw and Bryant, but I think Stevie would be a little too much for him. Do I think he'll make it to state? No, but possibly depending on a good draw at semi state. I have seen stranger things happen.

have u seen him even wrestle?

  7. I'm not sure the previous poster meant any disrespect to Roe, but he was simply stating a fact, not an opinion.

He has gone 29-1 and to my knowledge, has not wrestled a single kid in the current Top 20 Rankings.  He hasn't even cracked Y2's FW SS Rankings.

I'm not saying he won't place Top 5 at state and I'm not saying he won't make it out of sectionals, but it is obvious that there aren't a whole lot of quality wins out of those 29.

ya but really the only thing that matters is that who ever steps out there on the mat he beats, i rrly dont think it is his fault that he hasnt wrestled much comppettion. but he has looked good doing it . fair?

  8. I know Roe from Adams Central is like 29-1, but hasn't really seen any good competition. I think bellmont has a decent 112 in Blake Adams. I also think Union City has a decent guy. Roe would probably be the favorite, but like I said he hasn't really wrestled any competition. The Delta sectional is pretty stacked at 112, so he'll get some competition at regional

Brain Harvey vs Aron davis- 7-4. 2nd time idk the score

Jared McKinely vs Aron davis- 13-8

Derek Roe vs Aron davis- 17-6

    "no competition"? huh. wierd
