  1. You would be right that Indiana high school wrestlers can not wrestle in the border wars tournaments during the IHSAA wrestling season. The ruling in the past is that the IHSAA season starts on the date of the first authorized contest date. This year that date is Nov. 15th. It appears that the border wars national championship is on Nov. 5th and 6th.

ok i was making sure because i also heard as long as we havent had a meet we could go

  2. Everything looks great except for the fact that they aren't letting Connor Wyatt wrestle.

That's a shame. I do not see how his situation is any different than the others. I guarantee you he was under weight when more than half the kids weighed in before weigh-ins were supposed to start.

Other than that, I can't complain.

Thank You decbell1 for the support and i beilive that when i got their i was lighter than every other kid in this weight class.. Yet as of now even if they would decide to let me wrestle in a pig tail i would be unable to make the weight i now weight 125..  i have thought this over and if i were granted the chance to wrestle i pig tail match i am not going to cut 11 lbs in 4 days.. the reason behind this is i feel this could be a danger to my health.

  3. UCWYATT,

Not sure what you will end up seeded. There is a criteria set in place that establishes seeds. Gonzales being returning champ should guarantee him the #1 spot as that is first criteria. Then you throw in there that Armantrout is probably undefeated, 2 X State Qualifier, and coming off of a Oustanding Wrestler Award down in Jeffersonville and he probably gets the #2 seed. Then you consider Shaw of Wes Del may be undefeated also. I would say #3 or #4 not knowing other kids to consider. Either way, you should hope to get a shot to wrestle Gonzales or Armantrout and see where you are at. They are both in the top level of that weight class for the state. Good luck!

Thx for the reply i appreciate it !

  4. i was just wondering Im a 17-0 freshman at the 112 weight class and ive beaten the 4th place finisher at this weight class last year and only had 1 pt scored on me all year.  so even though this is probably one of the toughest weight classes in the tournament what should i get seeded
