  1. Thanks, I thought he was going to go 189 that will spice it up even more. I think Stevenson will be very dominate at 189 for the next two years.

Duckworth will dominate this year at 189, being already commited a top notch wrestling college is a good start to becoming the 2009-2010 state champion.

  2. I guess i can post about this stuff now.... Johnson by 8+... Rehn is solid but Johnson was a regional runner-up.  The kid is strong as a bull for 112 if he can get back down there he is my pick to win the Regional.

I talked to Dillian today in one of our classes and he says that Dillian will be wrestling 112 and most likely he will not get down to 112 to wrestle he will just stay at 119 this year. Although i would pay money to see them wrestle each other.  8)

  3. rufio -i think u have a grudge against travis or something, i can guarantee you that if travis  was able 2 wrestle this yr he would have done very well. but woulda coulda shoulda, obviously u go 2 WC so u know that he was planning on wrestling there this yr but now that hes back at NW u r a hater, if was able 2 wrestle u know u would want him on uer team.

Me personally i would not like to have him on our team, he has a reputation and our school has a decent one, I would not like to see the reputation of our school dicipate. I dont hate Travis at all, i think he is a decent person but he made some stupid choices, not mistakes.

obviously u dont know travis very well or u would know that wrestling was his first love, he had more heart than 1/2 the wrestlers i have ever known. u say he didnt get any better from his sophmore yr to his junior yr then u obviously didnt watch him wrestle at all last  yr, anybody who did knows he was a beast on the mat.

Obviously he didn't have enough heart. He may be a beast on the mat but off the mat he makes very poor choices and thats why he isn't wrestling, i wouldn't  even argue about Travis because its not going to change the fact that he cant wrestle because of what he chose to do. It was his call and he picked the wrong choices.

  4. 152 should be a tough regional for logan with Lynde and wagoner and whoever Caneron should place thou also Rehn hopefully has a better regional he should of won last year he didnt do so hot in regionals i forget who he wrestled at semi state. If he goes 103 he will win but 112 im not sure with Johnson cause hes a beast

Well i wouldnt be suprised to see both of them hit semistate this year, i am sure the match between Rehn and Johnson will be exciting, thats one match i am looking forward to seeing this season.

  5. I would have to predict two of the wrestlers from West Central to go to semi-state, at 152 Angus Cameron and at 112 Dillan Rehn. Cameron didnt quite make it last year but has improved his game and took it to the next level. Rehn also has stepped up his game and made it here, hopefully will make it all the way this season. Also being only as sophomore this year, Rehn will be improving dramatically through the rest of his high school career and maybe grabbing a state title for 112 or 119 within the three years.

  6. 103: Ayersman , Stevens, or Brooks       Prediction- Ayersman over Stevens

112: Phillips, Campbell, or Kief                Prediction- Campbell over Phillips

119: Hawkins, Kieffer, or Nelson             Prediction- Nelson over Hawkins

125: Wright, Lovejoy, or Raley                Prediction- Lovejoy over Wright

130: Tsirtsis, Napules, or Berryman      Prediction- Tsirtsis over Napules

135:  Roach, Heistand, Norton                 Prediction- Norton over Roach

140: Porras, Simms, Welch                       Prediction- Porras over Simms

145: Surma, Corpe, or  Tonte                   Prediction- Corpe over Tonte

152: Stahl, Bennet, Quiroz                        Prediction- Stahl over Bennet

160: McMurray,Willis, or Hines             Prediction- McMurray over Willis

171: Vlahos, Moats, or Hostetler             Prediction- Moats over Vlahos

189: Stevenson, Atwood, or Scott           Prediction- Stevenson over Atwood

215: Duckworth, Lentz, or Cleveland    Prediction- Cleveland over Duckworth

HWT: Travis, Thomas, or Janney          Prediction- Janney over Travis

I would say Atwood over Stevenson, Duckworth over Cleveland, and possibly Travis over Janney but other than that looks about right.

  8. Travis Rowe is not wrestling this year.  That came directly from him tonight in a conversation he had with one of my family members.

He is preparing for his career in the Marines following graduation. He is still involoved with the program and willing to help as much as needed.

    We wish him the best!!!

    Thats what I thought. :-\
