Great site. Great enthusiasm. The Howe grapplers are fortunate to have you as a coach!

Is there an RTC tomorrow Thurs. July 15? At 5:30? If not, does anyone know of anywhere else? Thanks.

I am hesitant to make this point because I know the organizers were trying to be innovative and improve Indiana's performance in national meets. They should be supported for their efforts. The new system might be good for some, but it was difficult for our family.
1. The cost is significant, especially if your family wants to attend. But it is not unreasonable given today's cost.
2. The camp concept does not allow the team to be chosen until just a few days before the trip. This makes it difficult for a family to plan with regard to both schedule and cost.
3. The state championship is important and the reward of the duals position is certainly warranted. If you win, your family can begin to plan for all of the above.

Nice words from Ed W. I noticed he had a big group of young wrestlers from the Brown County club. You are right Ed. There is a lot to be gained from the sport aside from the obvious .

Any news on the RTC today? Yes? No? 6:00PM?

I guess more than anything I feel bad for him and his family with this hitting the paper, it really should have just been kept to those who needed to be concerned with it. He broke the rules, he payed the price, and I'm sure he's learned from his mistake. Let him move on without making it a big news story.
Agreed.

Don't know much about Asperger's. Is the story correct about the symptoms - "exibit poor social skills and inappropriate or eccentric behavior." That's pretty vague. How could you ever punish a kid for breaking the rules.? Many teenagers without any condition exhibit this type of behavior. This may be a tougher situation than people think. That said, it is a tragic situation. He was/is certainly a fine wrestler.

Was at Beech Grove Folkstyle tourney yesterday. My son won the third place match in a big weight class, so we were there all day. 8:00 AM til 7:30 PM. Saw Coach Tonte soon after I arrived and he was there the entire day. The day after his biggest moment in Indiana wrestling and he spends 12 hours coaching his next generation. You don't have to wonder why his program is so successful. Congrats to Coach T and his entire staff.
