the website says the brackets are up, but there is no link. is anyone able to open the brackets? or give me some advice?

Ben Baker of Bellmont knocked off Spencer Raypole 3-1 this past week at conference.
-
Baker? Your kidding me. You don't think he will get past baker? He'll go right past baker, pinning him in the 1st period. No doubt. Well let's see if baker can get past vicent beaujean first.
I'll save this and we'll see what happens on Saturday. I wouldn't put my money on a Baker from bellmont getting pinned in the first period of sectionals. 13 losses of a bellmont guy is about the equivalent to 5 of any other team in that sectional. I also wouldn't be bashing a team that took it to SA.

yeah but dake, burroughs, russel, and wright all had two legs. id say its pretty obvious who the OW is
-
idk a backflip and a headgear toss seems a little too far for me. personally my favorite was Chad Welch running over and slapping Chad's butt during his interview haha.
-
Since everyone has polls for the finals, I thought I'd make one for the final's celebrations.
-
I, as well, scored 11. Missed Mason Todd, Garrett Goldman, and Jeremiah Harvey
I did the exact same thing. I dont think many people had goldman considering he was under the radar for most of the season.

haha watching them wrestle at team regionals made my shoulders hurt!
It also helps that dewey is one of the most flexible people i know. ive seen him spin out of dumps multiple times
-
if jackson gets on top, he will run his chicken wing/arm bar series all day. ive only seen a few people stop it this year, one being dewey melcher
-
Our prayers go out to the Freidt family. Just keep fighting John! You were and still are a great mentor to our children and fellow wrestlers.
-
Bellmont also sent 7 HOMEGROWN kids to state.
-
Billys father, Greg, has lived in Decatur his whole life. He attended Bellmont High School. As a matter of fact, he didnt even wrestle in high school. the baker boys started with Randy and Doug Baker. So nix the talk about Billy Baker.

$16 for all day saturday. and yes last year i had to sneak in a free refill souveneir cup.
-
$8 per session (3 sessions)
$20 for the whole thing (all 3 sessions)
plan on spending about $100 on concessions also
-
Yorktown had 4 champs at 119, 135, 145, and 189. bellmont had 2 champs at 215, and 285.
-
Why did he get put to his back in the first place? If the refs would not have called the pin, then we would have a bunch of angry fans saying that kieffer was pinned due to the time issue. When it comes down to it, wrestlers decide the match, not the refs.
-
I know Bellmont and Yorktown each sent 7, but who sent the most to state? Who was second?
-
Hankenson-Lynde
-
He will major Harvey. And I see him bumping and beating tsirtsis next year
are you being serious? it would take quite the vision quest for molloy to beat tsirtsis. and probably a $100 bill for the ref.
-
The Jay County regional sent 22 to state and the NHC (Northeast Hoosier Conference) sent 15. 14 of the 22 out of the JC regional came from Bellmont or yorktown. 1 out of the 22 from the JC regional was a free agent until sectional.

I had faith in the braves! Thank you! It was one of the best dual meets ive ever been to!

103-Boston saw him at mish. STUD
112-Phillips-very good wrestler, has two titles to prove it
119-Ayersman- could also be campbell
125-Kieffer-more experience at conseco
130-Barroquillo-not a very tough weight class
135-Devon Jackson-very good technique
140-Tsirtsis-no doubt.
145-Roach-him and tsirtsis are by far the best duo in the state
152-Mullins-sleeper pick.
160-Lefever-love how he wrestles
171-Hankenson-if he wrestles stein like he did last time, and keeps his defense up the whole match he could win
189-Stevenson-should have been in the finals 2 years ago
215-Reese-great athlete, wrestles like a 160
285-Meyer-don't see any hwts that can last 3 periods with him, especially on bottom
Merriville SS- 3 champs
FW SS- 5 champs
New Castle SS- 3 champs
Evansville SS-3 champs

picks look pretty good, although i would change a few things at 140 and 215... ;D
-
I think Ryley Hankenson is definitely in the same league with the lefevers, but i'd have to go with jackson as the best in the semistate.
Jv to state!

Ben Baker of Bellmont was off and on with Brad Busse and Issac Birch for varsity. Busse and Baker are both semistate champs, and Birch went into overtime in the ticket round.
