  1. Does anyone know if ihsaa is using the trackcast tonight?  (and if so what it costs?)

As I look at the ihsaa website, I see this:

Friday's first round and Saturday's quarterfinals and consolations will be streamed at TrackWrestling.com

I am just not clear whether this refers to the standard dashboard stream, or trackcast (when you open the trackwrestling website, it asks you if you want to subscribe to trackcast, and that doesn't pop up for most traditional tournaments...

  2. My problem with the stalling call wasn't necessarily the call itself, the HUGE problem was the rotating referees that made it terribly inconsistent.  One of the refs called stalling regularly (the one that had the 135 match) the other ref rarely called stalling, even in very clear cut cases such as top man not returning bottom man to the mat when they reach their feet...

  3. I know nothing about this particular situation, and I think it was mentioned previously in another thread, but situations with transfers discussions like this are soon to be a thing of the past.  With a voucher program that is poised to become a reality in the state of Indiana, we could certainly soon see numerous athletic powerhouses develop from those who have the means to send their children elsewhere.

  4. I believe that someone posted that CP's team is good because they listen to their coach I simply post why they became a power in the state. A good kids club, being a school system in which talented wrestlers want to be a part of. I guess the people on this board are really putting down the Bulldogs. Come on you can take it how you want

I think that if you said "a good kids club, being a school system in which talented wrestlers want ot be a part of" in the first place and not a snide comment about move ins and a coach that is not cp's you would not have gotten the response you did...

  5. Or it could be timely move ins or bill hawkins running jr bulldogs that couldn't be it

great...here we go with the move ins again...another dead horse...and what does jr bulldogs have to do with anything there is a jr bulldogs football program-not wrestling.  Bill Hawkins (along with other noteables) runs a program in northwest indiana that all kids from all schools have opportunity to attend...

  6. I understand posting if you feel you or your kid should be ranked, with a RATIONAL reason as to why, what I dont understand is why people would come on here to bash another kid...first of all, these are just rankings, the only real ones that matter come at the end of the season on top of the podium, second of all, it is just classless...

and not to take anything away from you rankingsguy, your great, and the rankings are fun to look at and specualte with...keep up the great work!!!

  7. Ok, so I am new to this conversation...and i am not about to go back and read all 6,342,587 pages on class wrestling, so i probably missed this part of the conversation.  For the record i am undecided on class wrestling, but there is one major point that i dont know if i can look past.....

..If i have to find 14 top tier athletes of different weights, i think i have a better chance of finding the complete 14 best if i search through 4,000 kids than from 900 kids....will i find some out of the 900, sure, will i find the best out of that 900, sure, but i know i would rather have the 4000 to search through...i likes them odds better....
