  1. I've heard a rumor that they do not weigh in for this IN/IL meet. That is a major concern, Sean does not cut weight. He is under 160 now.

Another question, do you have to make weight for the bragging rights meet? Also what time do the wrestlers have to be there?

what is the requirement to be on this list
  3. I don't think you can stereotype wrestlers when it comes to academics.  I've seen wrestlers who graduated first in their class, and others that were close to last in their class.  It takes all types.

Ya I agree, you really have to work your butt off to make the grades and wrestle tough. I work hard to keep up with homework every night, sometimes 1-3hrs. of homework and studies. And sometimes I think to myself, "was taking 4 college  course classes my Senior year the best choice?" But then I remind myself: I'm not going to wrestle for a living so I better keep getting as high a GPA as I can! Its alot of work but belive me its possible to do both!

  4. Match 1: McCutcheon vs. #7 EMD/#6 Reitz/#5 Castle

Match 2: #14 New Palestine vs. #3 Yorktown

Match 3: #4 Perry Meridian vs. #13 Cathedral

Match 4: #1 Mishawaka vs. #2 Crown Point

Is this the finalized draws? How do we know this? Seems pretty screwy, reminds me of last year!
  5. How were the matches at 135 and 140? I was surpsised to see both Merr. wrestlers get pinned. Did Shrug and Flamme step it up or was the match close before the PIN?

At 135, it was 8-2 in period 3 before Schurg pinned; and at 140 it was close until Flamme outwrestled and outhustled his guy. Good job CP! Looking forward to a rematch at Team Regionals. I think it will be more eventful than last year's face- off. [glow=red,2,300]Hopefully not in the first round of Team Regionals like last year.[/glow]

  6. Crown Point will be a young, tough team, and has potential to  be down at Center Grove next year. With the work ethics of the wrestlers and the superb coaching staff at Crown Point, they will be solid through and through. Great job C.P. You guys deserve every bit of this!
