Starting Tuesday March 17th at 4:30pm, Lake Central will open its room for live wrestling! Anyone interested, come on up. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4:30pm. Middle School to 12th grade with any level of experience are welcome.

Also, I think Harper can have a solid college career if he can fix up his injury. He has a similar wrestling style as Asst coach Roger Chandler of MSU. He can get him really good on his feet and better on top with legs. Even though Harper is good on top and uses that relentless power half.

You mean Cpt Obvious! Goof Nut!

Just wondering if everyone will stay on here to talk? Or will IHSWCA make a comeback since they started their message board back up? Interesting because Indianamat.com is growing so fast and is so big now.
-
Let's get it on!

As mentioned before I'd much rather the state board of education worry about what they currently have on their plates. From the looks of it that seem more than enough to keep them busy. Until they can fix all the current education needs I sure as heck don't want them worrying about something that has very little to do with education. I don't want this to issue to pass but I would like it to be felt as a wake up call to the IHSAA in its current form.
Would the IHSAA bother to change even if this did not pass???

I think everyone is trying to figure out which is the lesser of two evils in this situation. The IHSAA does a decent job, but could always do some things better. However, I'm not sure who the DOE has in mind that has experience in this type of governing of athletics. This is something that will definitely be a hot topic over the next couple months.
Exactly!!

So what does that make me? A discreditable source...
Maybe a supraintraunmetareputable source. Further reason for some folks unhappiness with the IHSAA. In the mishawaka case they clearly used video/photographic evidence to make a decision but according to you (and I have no reason not to believe what you said), they don't want people to send evidence of potential rules violations.
Yeah I follow you. I do not want to get into details, but I do believe the IHSAA is a bureaucracy at times. However, is it so bad we need to demolish the organization? Don't know.... That is why I would like more information.

I have a funny feeling that the Mishawaka wrestling eligibility case (IHSAA not fighting) when compared to SB washington basketball eligibility case (IHSAA still fighting) might be a factor in our state legislators displeasure with the IHSAA.
I didn't understand this when I saw it being talked about on here (the Mish thing). Could someone nutshell explain this?
Mishawaka wrestler wrestled last year for the full season. This year someone sent pictures and video of the wrestler living in a different school district to the IHSAA. The IHSAA declared him ineligible for this year. They appealed it and won and he went on to finish 7th in the state.
According to Bobby Cox, your not allowed to send videos or pics to their office because there would be barrage of videos and pics being sent in by parents and coaches. That's is how he responded to me on a different case not for eligibilty reasons. Wierd? ???

wrestle backs yes but no class wrestling.... i don't think that's the concern here. I think they are trying to hold on to a JOB. I'd like to find out the details of this bill and some info on what would happen if it does pass. I'd like to take a stance.
-
Does anyone know what the details are of this house bill?
-
wow cant wait to see what happens now

Mike Escobedo's dance .... man no love

Well the pic is centered on the McGill's so if I had to guess it's definitely a McGill.

Great work

Im not so sure about Cashe. Don't get me wrong, but he does not have any top wrestling. If he does not improve on top he will struggle at the elite college level. If the boilermakers improve his game he definitely will be tough in my opinion. But good call almost forgot about him.

Who could have the best college careers out of all seniors? Here's just a few. Camden Eppert, Taylor March, Steven Sandefer, Daniel Young, Briar Runyan, and Marcus Shrewsbury? I got my money on Steven Sandefer!
-
Could it be Doug Welch upset over Johnny Dillon or Mason Berryman upset over Anthony Napules?
-
did he tell you what he's eating? Ill get Ayersman on that diet.
-
wow cool story

Not to brag, but i remember starting that breaking trend back in 2002 for my state championship. I did it all off a family bet. I don't think I will be able to lift my 200lb body any more to do that again.
-
hahahahahaha ;D

That guy is a MONSTER! I just do not know how a kid like Adam Chalfant and Kyle Ayersman can be both high schoolers. That's freaky stuff!
