  1. Will Brownsburg's youth program translate into a state contender team in 2 yrs? 4?

I say probably yes. Scott Meyer and team did a great job building that program to be what it is now with all home grown kids, all kids that are from Brownsburg. Huge accomplishment considering all of the pay your way to wrestle programs out there. No one really saw them coming as youth began emerging as studs in different areas and tournaments. Another question is how tough will Avon be in a few years, their youth team is solid from top to bottom. I do like the predictions here.

  2. Here's what I have

    106 fox, smith, Rassbach, markitan

    113. Schottle, Reese, wright, jones

    120 arnold, fleenor, Lykins, Schober

    126macri, Carmichael, batts, Thompson

    132 Malloy, hupp, swigert, epler

    138. Stevenson, Judy, Harrison, hesselgrave

    145 Montgomery, fentz, McCreary, wheeler

    152. Reeves, kreich, fox, ferguson

    160. Underwood, Warner, Gardner, Langdon

    170. Mappes, bowman, huston, weaver

    182 zorniger, Ludwig, sheets, Thompson

    195 jones, harlan, tolley, Harris

    220. Stinnett, knura, hesler, stone

    285. Suter, Snyder, Davis, groler

Pretty tough matches. Hard to call after seeing Franklin at conference and Avon sectionals. Should be some good battles Saturday.

  3. He really impressed me this weekend. He got a lucky takedown in the beginning, butm the rest of the match it seemed that he just stopped wilsons game. I was even more impressed with his match With Montgomery. He took him down in the first got reversed, in the third Montgomery got an escape and ran. Both good wrestlers from Hendricks county.

  4. Montgomery won his regional.  Has a tough ticket round match, but he will continue his run in this state tournament.

I agree that he could do it.  Also don't count out Jerald thompson from brownsburg. He beat Wilson, and gave Montgomery all he could handle in the finals. I think they Will both do well.

  5. Why is everyone hating on my picks. I'm pretty sure at county sheets went into overtime with hill. Pretty good freshman.  Kahl has a pretty mean headlock and can find it all over the mat. I like how Thompson wrestled last weekend and he has been looking good recently. Sorry that I am not conforming to everyones wishes in their picking but i like rooting for the underdog and I think that these kids have the drive to do it. Good luck to everyone from Hendricks county.

  7. Coaches, my ad told ,e to keep track of stats in our conference I had to use this website. It is first off really cool. You enter your stats for your duals as well as the other teams stats. This way it shows a box score at the end of the match with each wrestler and who wrestled where and how they did. This is a great tool for us to use because it compares stats across the state, conference, and by each weight class. I enter all of our stats on there and after each meet is done I press send and the info also goes to the local papers and everything.  I think that this is an advance to our sport that would help rankings guy, coaches, fans, and athletes because it gets there names out there. I challenge all of you to try this out.  Www.varvee.com if you have any questions about it I can prob help.

  9. I based bowman not making it out because he lost to Wong of Brownsburg and Wong Lost to Collicot. Ifsofacto Bowman not making it out. My opinion, im entitled to it. Fisher getting fourth is my spoiler, one that I am hoping for. Fuller has been wrestling pretty tough lately. Malloy is an animal though. So that is why I said toughest weightclass. All deserve to go to state let alone semi-state.

  10. Here they are:

103 : Schoettle, Arnold, Pingleton, Bowman

    112:Kief, Plake, Mocherman, Montgomery

119:Fuller, Legan, Malloy, Fisher  (Toughest weightclass)

    125:Raley, Guernsey, Judy, Collicot

    130:Heald, Schoefield, Wilson, Bratton

    135:Rassbach, Oaks, VanHorn, Higdon

    140:Milton, Hall, Bealmear, Bowman

145:waters, helderbrandt, clements, haak(A green school will win)

    152:Parrish, mappes, juliano, vaught

    160:Kolb, Reece, Vermillion, Gipson

    171: Brandt, Underwood, Ford, Kahl

  11. if you got super bowl tickets and the plane leaves on fri night or sat morn and your son is in regionals what would you do

Tell your son to pin quickly and win his first match so you can get on your merry way.

  12. Here are mine:

    103 - Arnold Brownsburg

    112 - MOcherman - Tri West

    119 - Fuller Brownsburg

    125 - Judy  Danville

    130 - Heald Cascade

135 - Oaks Brownsburg ( he is getting close on Rassbach, if he wrestles Rassbach like everyone else, he wins) Rassbach A as a close second. OT match

    140 - Bealmear -TW

145 - Worden if hes back, then Haak- Brownsburg

    152 - Parrish PF

160 -Kolb Tri west. I agree with you rd

    171 - Brandt AV

    189 - Danville Guy

215 - Who knows they are all still so equal in my opinion. Even the Danville guy. 215 should be  a round robin bracket

    285 - Ginter Brownsburg.

Team I saw Brownsburg, Avon, Danville. I havent seen cloverdale or Greencastle so sorry if peoples pantys get in a wad about that. I know greencastle had a good 135 lb last year. Not sure where he is this year. Also Cloverdale had a good 160-171 lber but not as good as kolb and brandt so...  Good luck to everyone and all the teams, it should be interesting. I would really like my alma mater plainfield do well but I think they are on a rebuilding year
