Baron was the best wrestler that day, hands down.  I spoke with his father during the finals, nice man, nice fan base and one heck of a wrestler he has...x3.  My ponder is only this.  It seems the top bracket(that moody was in) seemed to only have moody in it, if the GS wasn't there then it would have been Oakley from central, correct?...Castro from Jeff probably would have lost to Oakley(my opinion here) and won the next round to face moody in the semis(giving them both a ticket to state)...OK, henderson and riecker had to face off in the ticket round, that makes no sense to me...why keep one of those kids from going to state? If henderson would have lost to Oakley at regionals and got his SEED, he'd be going to state!!!...it makes no sense to me.  why load one side of the bracket?...

Actually I did not see a Reitz fan rooting agaist MD all day.  I agree that alot of people root against MD but you didn't see Reitz fans doing it today.  You know I really like Henderson... he seems like a good kid and a good person but some of his "biggest fans" need to realize that there is more to life then high school wrestling and booing high school athletes when your favorite wrestler has nothing to do with the match is pretty sad.

The only thing sad here is it seems every year MD gets screwed with SEEDS.  @125, why was there 3 ranked wrestlers in the lower bracket and only Moody in the top bracket?...Reitz hosts this event right?, that's  probably a big swing there.  I am Zach's biggest fan and I realize there is more to life than high school wrestling, but why can I not boast my opinions like everyone else?  Is it because I am a MD fan and alumni?  Is it because I don't like your wrestler?  But the best wrestlers at 125 from the E-ville semi state are not going to state, say what you will, you will be wrong!

Sad day on the westside when a LARGE portion of the MD crowd were cheering for Rieker (CE) against Moody (Reitz)

Just like everyone else cheers against MD anyother time.  Rieker deserved to win!  Moody wrestles with a saddle and everyone on my side of the stadium knows it!

I hope everyone realizes that panic attacks and other similar issues are nothing to joke about.  I hope we don't stoop that low.  There is nothing funny here.

do agree cannot say sims is not a tough kid and has gone through more in his four years of high school than alot of people go through in a lifetime i know john personally and he is a great kid dont see the need for grown adult who dont know him to question his actions wether you agree of not. would love to seen the welch sims match but o well didnt happen i do feel sorry for the kid who has to wrestle sims first at semi state but other than that kuhn is a animal johns did what needed to be done and let everyone kno not to forget bout him welch and vanhook i dont know what to say other than good wrestling moody and henderson moody won fair and square tried to turn him all match and couldnt that is not stalling. dowdy konrath haha all i can say with that whole class is everyone gets there moneys worth dont count dowdy out by no means and konrath is a great wrestler with great sportsmanship all in all reffs were good today and so was the wrestling well worth the stupid six dollar entry fee

possibly worse calls ever seen come on a point for faking an eye injury in the 125 match and idk what happened in the dowdy schroeder match just horrible inconsistant calls from the stripped guys its sad the reffs are scared to call the right calls hopefully have better reffs at sectional

 

please tell me which call was bad in the Moody vs. Henderson match?....looked to me henderson simply out wrestled him in every single way

So the rumors are true Zach Henderson is going back to 125.... wow, didn't he wrestle 145 or 152 during the off season.

125 yes....and as for the 145-152 rumor...no he didnt...he weighs around 135 naturally....

This will most likely be the best dual in the state - For the Year -

Check this out, Reitz has three state qualifiers ( Khun, Moody and Reuger ) by the way Khun placed. Three semi-state qualifiers (Boyle, Fentress and Wimpleburg). they will be solid from top to bottom with a few kids making a suprise run ( Van hook, Vogel and Dowdy) The Dowdy boy is a beast. Reitz might be slow starting because of football but they will be solid from 103 to heavyweight and they are my pick for team champs. I'll go with Castle next just because they got a little taste of the good life last year. Hate to do this but MD will be third because they are down in the lower weights this year ( However i look for them to finish strong in the second half of the year, to much tradition for them not to). Well that probably opened up a bees nest but it's just my opinion and we all know the saying about that don't we.

it will be good, tough, and exciting wrestling for everyone to watch...thats about the only thing we can say for sure...

im biased as hell...but i know MD wont let a repeat of last year happen again...
