  1. Why dont you make a weekend out of it and go to Princeton on the 14th and Evansville Reitz on the 15th.  One weigh in for both tournaments will have you all set.  Go to trackwrestling and register for the Reitz tournament.

    Thanks.

  3. Probably shouldn't but will make a remark about the situation.  First of all I have never shot down Dylan Hall or his staff in any way, shape or form.  He has gotten the better of our kid each time this year and should do well for himself at state.  However, Nuts dad is getting to be a pain in the butt like the other dude in the gym.  First off, your son watched him weighin when the kids got to Castle.  So for you to make those remarks is absurd.  I will leave it at that.  That is like trying to make remarks about Hall losing to last year's state champ.

  4. I for one know that Reitz has had approximately 26 state qualifiers(not all placers in those 26) but have averaged 20 plus wins for the last 8 or so years.  There were years where they have gone 28-1 in back to back seasons but it was the one loss that kept them from at least getting to the state dual meet series.  I am not saying that they or other teams could have won state but probably could have beaten several teams that make it.  There is alot more parody in the south, especially with Castle beating them last year.  From a team standpoint, the state should look at other states formats.  Kentucky has pooled brackets and they have 1/3 the teams that wrestle and they have a 32 man individual tourney with full wrestle backs.  In terms of teams of the decade, Reitz and Castle may not be at the top but needs to be considered with the programs having that many qualifiers, etc. as consistent teams of the decade.

  5. Reitz is now 17-0 on the season.  They have also won the Zionsville tournament.  They head to Connersville over the xmas break.  In January, they head towards St. Louis and wrestle in the Murdale Invite at Carbondale, Illinois and then Mater Dei on the 14th and Castle on the 16th prior to the SIAC meet on the 23rd.  Good luck to all.

  6. Reitz wins the 10-way.  They are now 17-0 on the season.  Weiss from Heritage Hills get MVP but the 3 pounder from Union County, Ky beat two very good kids in Vanhook and Hall from Harrison.  Heritage Hills also beat Memorial in a close one.  Overall, some pretty good wrestling.  Up next for the panthers..Connersville.

  7. Well Mr. S,

We started the Hill  Classic off right this year.  We did not have some of the upper boys due to winning football state but they will be in action on Saturday.  They will not be in the best of shape but there will be some good matches in those upper weights tomorrow.  Reitz and Jasper were 3-0 today and meet in the next to last round.  Charlestown has some good kids and will make for some interesting matchups.  Keep us posted on the Castle Invite as well.

  8. Should be some decent matchups this weekend on the hill.  I am sure that some of the football guys are not in great shape but eager to get on the mats.  Saturday should boast some good duals with Jasper, Heritage Hills, Terre Haute North and Charlestown.  Friday night pairings are Central, Paducah Tilghman and Bosse.  Action Starts at 6:00p.m. Friday and 9:00a.m. Saturday.
