Cameron is a good kid who made a dumb mistake, I am sure we have all been there. In talking to his Dad, Cameron has got it together. I would expect to see him back on the Mat next season making some serious noise. Not only is he a good kid but an excellant wrestler and would be competing at state for a place somwhere near the top this year.

Meyers and Powell in the 160 finals. Meyers has recovered from his knee and Powell from his shoulder surgery. Powell has faced 5 kids that were ranked and dominated Meyers has dominated his ranked matches. Both schools have faced ranked teams Crown Point has faced 5 Northridge has faced 4 (5?). Ranked teams may not bring ranked kids to your weight but do bring a higher level of competition overall. More importantly, both are on a mission and that counts for a lot. If they are in opposite brackets I put them in the finals otherwise Runyan joins the mix. Todd could be in the mix, I don't know if his school faces the same competition as the other 3 so has he been tested, no slam on him at all, he may be great.

Graber dominated his match. Mays 5-4 score was much closer then the match seemed. Mays controlled the tempo of the match. Sparks from Peru took 3rd. Powell was up 9-2 before pinning Hamilton. Graber, Mays and Powell had no problems winning the championship rounds.

If Lafayette Harrison is there I'll pick Vlahos at his weight and if Ryan Sandwith is at 215 he'll win it.
Is Vlahos back on the mat? very solid wrestler, good for him if he is.

To bad Northridge isn't back. There are not in conference, and they have a few kids who have historically been very competitive. They do wrestle Mishawaka at a Super Dual in Plymouth. I still think they would raise the level of competition more than some teams. Some of the southern teams looking for good competition from the north might appreciate that chance to meet teams like Northridge.
Awood2 there was an artical in the South Bend Tribune on three of the kids from Northridge on Saturday and one in Fridays Elkart Truth on Ross Powell from Northridge. I agree it would be great to se these kids competing at Al Smith

So if you want to see videos of your competition just order the DVD's of Al Smith or a couple of select conference and regionals. It is against the rules to tape your competition anywhere in the state but it is okay to buy dvd's of your competition if they are from up north. Something just does't sound right about this....
