im really surprised how much of a backround they gave to howes indiana backround and then failed to mention after giving his career record mention that the only kid howe lost to in high school was from the opisite team would make for a good grudge match though

Eppert. I got a kick out of his "3 finger" breaking or whatever that was. Also, he was so pumped and seemed to be talking to himself for about the next 4 or 5 minutes while pacing. Must have been a very satisfying end to his career.

I'm not the one that wants "better seeding."  I think the way they do it is the most fair way and there is no way to seed the state finals.

i completly agree y2 things like this are always going to happen and seeding it would just turn this into the bcs which many people dont like anyway leave it the way it is thats just tough luck should be a good match but im taking atwood (even though it could go anyway) have these two ever matched up before?

i agree i think harper drive of this feeling that the whole gym is against him for the past 2 years it has seemed like mville and conseco the whole place seems to have been against me its very impresive how he has keep his cool with the boos at the end of the day he is still a three timer and has a very good shot at the historic 4x status good luck to both wrestlers next week

great match and i was cheering for Porras,  but i didn't like hearing the chant stalling.  Harper has stalled in the past but in my opinion he was not stalling there.  I'm sure he wasn't trying to lose.  Porras did a great job at riding him and stopping harpers first move. 

thats funny cause last year it was exactly the other way around people were chanting stalling in porras's favor i remember the ville was in an uproar i couldnt make it tonight but it sounded like a good match hats off to both wrestlers its just wierd how now the shows on the other foot

According to their website merrillville has the finals scheduled for 4:00. They are usually pretty good about keeping to the schedule.

i think they estimate 4:00 for the finals every year if im not mistaken so the additional wrestlers probably set the finals to anywhere from 5:00-6:00    just a guess though wouldnt be the first or last time i was wrong

if ur at logansport regional hopefully the winamac guys with that great mullet is there like at the TL sectional if so some one needs to get that guy in the contest he would probably win mullet of the year

i believe the Lynde Grayson match was 4-3 or 5-3 not positive, but lynde controlled almost all of the match, the lone takedown grayson got was on a mistake made by lynde

now that we are on to topic of 140 its a shame rowe wasnt at sectionals i was looking forward to a lynde/rowe finals at regionals would have been a very great match any north white kids on here know if hes ok (keep him in your prayers)

i agreee its compact but isnt it worth it for all the region wrestling that happens there in my oppinion it is the most exciting wrestling in state

devildog no disrespect but man i cant argue either way it was a thriller match  and either way both wrestlers are fairly decent and even if tolson were to lose a rematch (whitch i think is very likely to happen and i have to go with tolson on the rematch) both advance and thats the name of the game any way so congrats to both wrestlers on advancing

The problem is the first two rounds when one half of the lower bleachers aren't used

 

Don't forget about the restricted viewing up top the first two rounds as well as the inevitable  sunlight blasting in from the windows at the top of the gym.

they need to invest in some blinds you can choose the side to see all four mats and have the sun blinding you or only see 2 mats take your pick i have never been on the restricted viewing side in 4 years of attending

ha you have the delphi kid winning no way he'll be lucky to make the championship round he will have his hands full with MARQUEZ from NW it the semi finals and you have the kid from winimac finishing 3rd???? ha hes lucky to even be in the regional if Kramer from frontier wrestled in the sectional he wouldn't have even qualified... Marquez won the Midwest Conference the kid from Winamac finsihed 3 or 4 i believe... ha so yea your 215 projections makes me laugh.

 

like i said i have not been to many meets this year but the winamac 215 was handling marquez just in an impressive fashion marquez just pulled out a lucky head lock  for tolle and yoakum i dont really no im just saying tolson is a better wrestler than marquez nothing against any of the kids in this weight scardy is right they are predictions if you have a crystal ball then feel free to post your predictions i am just going off what i saw saturday
