Who remembers sectionals 03'? Was kicked out of the next meet, along with Hawkins. I have never seen an official make a worse call than that particular one though.

Agreed.  But having Team Regional that following Wednesday helped out.

Correct.  By CP being in the team regional, this enabled him to coach at SS.  The ruling then, don't know if it is still the same was when the coach was ejected, this banned him from the next two competitions (Team and Individual Regional).

Mishawaka has already beaten CP once.  If CP is going to win they will have to score some MAJOR bonus points with their studs and pull of an upset or two.  Mishawaka is tough and I can't see anyone hanging with them this year.

I agree with you that CP has an uphill battle to beat the cavemen, but Cathedral, CP, or PM can all hang with if not beat Mishawaka.  No disrespect to the other four teams, but I feel the title will be decided amongst these four. 

All the bashing of Tharp and Vlink, I think is ridiculous.  IN MY OPINION, I think they are two of the best coaches from the region.  From the mid 80's up to now the most consistent teams Portage and CP.  They are both hard-nosed, passionate coaches(old school).

Any word on if the meet is still on tonight?  Heard there are delays and cancellations in Porter county due to snow.  Also road closings.

I think it is nice to have the fans right next to the action in the semis and finals. Also a nice touch with the spotlight for the finals.

We have no hope of getting the SS moved from Merrillville til Qualizza leaves!  Hopefully, the AD at EC Central can get something going and SS moved there.  Also I love paying five bucks for a piece of Caesar's pizza when it costs five bucks for the whole pizza.  Can't leave to go get something to eat cuz you won't have a seat to come back to.  You'd be lucky to get back in the door.

EC Central.  According to older stats eight of the ten largest high school gyms in the country are in Indiana and EC is one of them.  It's been a while but I think they were 8th.  New Castle was 1st.  These stats are probably wrong now due to all the building and progression.  Correct me if  I'm wrong.
