Whatever the outcome of this qt. final match it should have been under the lights match  I guess just poor understanding of how to run a state wrestling  tournament by IHSAA.

I guess since the secret is out I can talk about him, Tanner wrestled JR Corman, Tonte, and Mascaro all at the same tourney. He Beat Corman, Mascaro bumped up and beat him but Tanner had him on his back, and lost to Tonte I beleive. I have known this young man ever since he was my sons age, and he was always on the mat, I knew back then he was going to be something special, win or lose this weekend he has opened alot of eyes and I cant wait to see him battle again!!!!

BTW how hard is it to pronounce L Y N D E, jeez people say line and add a D at the end, Im not sayin im just sayin.

This is exactly why I am taking my wife out tomorrow night ;D. I told her we will not have to wait in line the night before and it will be easier to find a baby sitter..........................I am a GENIUS!!!!!!

Unfair  ??? What is so unfair  about it ???  Because your kid couldn't beat that kid from the 4A or 5A school?????  Because the kid worked his butt off to be a great wrestler????  You know what's not fair is that I live in a small town and we don't have a Walmart, that's not fair, because we have to travel 30 minutes to the nearest Walmart so I can get those cheap ROLL BACK Prices like everyone else, that's not fair, but we deal with it.  I believe the IHSAA is as fair as they can get with wrestling.  Wrestling is a sport that is for tough individuals who dedicate themselves to the sport, let it be from a small school or large school may the best INDIVIDUAL in their respective weight class win.  There is always someone whinning about class wrestling, I remember this argument when my dad coached in the 90's, 80's and even  hearing about it from the 70's.  You know we all just need to look at the reality of all this, are we starting to be weak because of our society, trying to make more people winners???? Screw that, just suck it up and coach the kids to do the best they can do against the bigger schools because in the long run that's what really cares right now.  Best of Luck to all the Logansport Semi-State Qualifiers and let's make some noise up in the da region!!!!

I dont know his name but every year my brothers and I are pretty close to the front to get in to state. But no matter how fast we get in there he is always ther first, it kills me he must be the fastest squirelyest old man alive, he is really nice and we talk to him every year but I just wonder how he does it. I think I might ask him this year. By the way I have always been impressed with the treatment my brothers and I get from the Bellmont fans and the MD fans, cause every year we are smack dab in the middle of two huge loyal fan groups, Bellmont to the right Marter D to the left. It never fails there will be a match between the two schools and root for whomever we are closest to. Cant wait to get beat by the Old Man again this year, see ya at state!

When a wrestler makes it to semi state, but then for a reason other than an injury, can not compete? Is there an alternate? and does he get that seed? Just curious cause this is about to happen at a semi state.

I love that attackwood I have never heard that before haha he is a MANCHILD also! what is funny is I can remember the first time he lost in USA Wrestling hell I can remember the first time he got pinned he was so pissed!!!

Yeah I think that Attackwood is pretty appropriate for Braden, not only is he a beast but he is a real good kid. One of my other lil brothers Ethan is done for this year so now my attention Goes to the Delphi team. I cant wait to watch these guys battle.

I was not aware of the Rowe situation but we will keep him in our prayers... devildog I know what it is like to be gone when your lil brother is back home wrestlin in the tournament it sucks so bad, my brother Ty Sloan wrestled basically his whole career while I was station in the stumps and Cherry Point. Man I hated that, although for two years straight I drove 12 hours to watch wrestling 4 weekends in a row!!

Semper Fi Brother

The logansport regional does not get much love but this year i think we will have a solid group who will finish top 4 and qualify for the state finals. The Atwood kid from Delphi and the rowe kid from North White will walk through the regional and the minnix kid from Winimac is solid too but he does have a little more competition than the other 2. I think Russel from NW will finsh 2 at both sectional and regional along with NW 215 David Marquez ,Brady Tolle was number 2 at regional and did not wrestle at the semi state last year i'm still not sure why did he get hurt or something?? ? Either way he is a tough kid so i have him and Marquez finishing 1 and 2 at both sectional and regional. The Kramer  kid frontier is not bad either i wouldnt be suprised 2 see those 3 guys finish top 4 at regional with the kid from Delphi fininshing 3rd. Well at the end of the day the rankings and records don't mean anything it all comes down to the 3 D's. DISCIPLINE, DESIRE, & DETERMINATION. OOH RAH LOGANSPORT REGIONAL LEST MAKE SOME NOISE UP AT THE PIRATES SEMI-STATE!!!!

I hate to disagree with a fellow Marine but..... I dont think anyone will be walking through this Reg. with the exception being Attackwood (but he will be tested) and at 140 there will be a few surprises in store at this one!!!!

the way that i see it, is that it doesnt matter what you are seeded, if you are the best then you will come out on top either way.

Great point, to many seedings meetings turn into a grudge match between coaches although it can be amusing at times mostly it is pointles. Because just like you said it all gets settled on the mat, where it should be.
