Jon hasnt been tested all year. He got a late start on the season and the only chance he miight have been tested was JOwan Gill from Columbus NOrth. He Lost to FW Concordia I think. I know he was leading about 8-2 at the time of injury but could not continue.

Jeff Sectional in the books. Congratulations to JEFF and all the coaches. IT was a good day of wrestling . I was impressed with Floyd Central, they really came to wrestle today. Floyd kids gave it all they had and made a good race of it. My hope is that Jeff can represent this areas sectional and possibly take the Team Regionals.

Jeffs 103 has seen the best in Indiana and MIchigan. Perry Meridians kid handled him and HOlt MIchigan did also. He has competed with the best and done very well. You will see saturday. I think he will win.

Nobody scared of Cook. I respect Ethan and know he is a great wrestler. Its just that we have wrestled the best in INdiana And 189 is loaded compared to 215. Heck the Guy 215 Lane from Franklin who is rated 10 Jimmy pratt beat. the Mater Dei kid is solid but compared to what we have seen 189 is much more difficult. Fpr example an easier tourney at Scottsburg the Warrior had JC kid about 30 -6. Heston from Edgewood very solid wrestler, Henderson from Scottsburg who was 13th in state. Castle Holiday had Rosebrock from Castle 35-1, Eads from Bloomington who was 16th in state. Mater Dei kid was solid. Mooresville sectional has 2 top ten kids . Avon has Leach who beat Cook. There are at least 10 kids all with a shot a Semi State.

140 Newcombe If he is the 1 seed why did he FF when you faced Jeff? Maybe he is better. He weighed in and didnt wrestle. I dont understand the concept of protecting your seed by skipping matches. Also do you really think Providence is 2 seed. Noway

I heard the 140 bracket is : 1 Newcombe c-town 2 Providence 3 Salem 4 Tatgenhorst- Jeff 5 Murphy -Floyd If this doesnt enlighten you on how foolish the seeding meetings are then nothing will help you. I know Tatgenhorst the Jeff kid record isnt that good, but guess what 10 of his losses are to top20 kids in the state. Who else wrestled Perry Meridian, Warren Central, Jennings County kid who is 30-1 (lost 3 times to him by a total of 5 points) Sims from Mater Dei 4th in the state, Welch from Castle 7th in the state, Yorktown kid who is a monster , and Bloomington South by one point. You tellme Salem is better. Jeff wrestle C-town last Wed. Tag got a FF. Why do you get a free pass when you forfeit. Providence got 2nd seed. He was getting killed by the Floyd kid and was in a near fall position in the first period for a minute. The Providence kid was losing 8-0 at the end of the first period. The Providence kid started in optional position starting the second and got a lucky pin from a cradle. Jeff has wrestled 16 of the top 20 teams in the state and they get penalized for it because the individual records arent as good and when the time comes to wrestle head to head they get FFs. It makes no sense.

Not sure about Tyler and going 189. He wants to go 215 because the way to state is much easier. Tyler was talking to the coach about it for awhile tonight. Tyler wrestled 215 up at the Warrior Classic and beat the eventual champ from Greencastle in that weight class. Tyler has had to wrestle Ethan Cook or JT Jenkins every year since he was a sophomore. Its prettty bad when you have to beat a top ten wrest;er in the state just to win at sectional.

Curtis is doing well. He had a rough time up at franklin with Yorktown,Holt . He other than that weekend has wrestled well all year. I think he will peak at the right time. I believe the whole Jeff roster will be at their best this weekend for the Sectional.

Phscoach Bailey hasnt wrestled the New Wash kid. I talked to Tanner Howard from Scottsburg and he said he had some wars with him though. I think they met up at Warrior classic the Tanner getting the best of him.

Hey phs coach sorry to look foolish but i dont know who Sampson is. I have seen Bailey wrestle everyone all year. He has had a very rough schedule. Danny changed our schedule were we face ranked teams almost every time we touch the mat. Alex has been a fighter all year. Let me know where the kid is from and I will tell you how he did. Peace
