  For everyone rooting against Jeff, just hope they dont get all the guys back that arent wrestling right now.  Heavyweight,189,171 and Tatgenhorst could change everything. All those guys are varsity and didnt wrestle in HHC.

  I am from Jeffersonville and we wrestled Yorktown at Franklin . We were ahead for most of the dual. It came down to the last match. We were losing 29-25 with 145 still to wrestle. We got pinned and lost 35-25. I have got to believe if Mishawaka has thier whole roster the should handle Yorktown. Taking nothing from Yorktown, I think they are very good.  I saw the scores of how easily Mish defeated Bloomington and Perry and cant believe they could pull off an upset. we ran into both of those teams also and lost in a dual and at Capitol city. Mishawaka should win.

  What match were you watching when Jeff wrestled Castle? The score was 29-25 going into the last match at 189. The Jeff kid was trying to throw Rosebrock for the win and got pinned in the process. 63-6 might have been the Castle Jasper score.

That is weird OLdtimer they dont know how to wrestle yet they are in the top 15 in the state. What school are you associated with so we can go to some of your clinics? Wrestling smart at the end of a match when you are leading is done by everyone, not just Jeff. Just imagine what Jeff could do if they knew how to wrestle. I bet they beat the pants off your team this year

Everybody is picking Daugherty to finish second at 152. He just lost to Jeffs JV guy last nite.  How can this kid get a good seed after that. I notice that everyone is picking the Ctown kid at 160. If he is the kid who wrestled at Jeff last nite I think you had better reconsider. Jeffs 160 pinned him.

       Jeff sat out 2 varsity 152 and 125. Charlestown didnt wrestle with 140 Newcombe and 125 stotridge. I wasnt sure what happened at 119.  I cant remember If 130 was a major or 145.

Jeffersonville wrestled Charlestown tonite and won 51-12.  In the 152 class Jeffs JV wrestled because the varsity kid had ringworm and beat Daugherty. You guys got Daugherty rated 6th in Evansville Semi State.  You might want to look at that.

Look at the first game. The colts led 15-10 and were going to have the ball, before the 2nd stringers came in. The Jets scored on a kickoff return for a touchdown at the begining of the 3rd quarter. Unlikely that will happen again. The Colts likely would have scored with the first bunch in and it would have been game over. I think this game will be all colts.

  Trinity wrestled the JV versus Perry. Trinity would win at 112,119,171,189 and possibly 130 and 145 if they wrestled with varsity.

browner took Hitchings down in the third trailing 5-0. I think with maybe 1:30 left in the third. It was 5-2 at that point. He let Hitchings up and spent the rest of the period franticly trying to take him down. Hitchings looked like he just wanted to get it over with. There was no more offensive moves from him.

6 to 2 Hitchings. Tough match Browner was really pushing the pace in the third. I think had it gone a minute more it could have really tightened up.

  I was looking at the brackets and they alll have a similar pattern except 152. The 152's have #1, and #2 seeds in the same bracket every other class has  #1 seed at the top of the bracket and #2 seed at the bottom. I know this has to be a mistake.

Will they compete with these three? Castle, MD, and Bloominton South will be the best we're guessing.  ??? Sorry. What does Jeff's  lineup look like? I guess we are believing that it will be a three horse race with possibly two horses being close and the other a little further back. Maybe Jeff will come to race.

Jeff has basically the same team as last year.  8 guys are returning and the guys that filled the holes are pretty good except 2 weight classes. I think Jeff can compete with the best.  Jeff dominated the Hoosier Hill duals. Jeff had 6 guys go 7-0 at the duals and 4 or 5 guys go 6-1.  ]

  Columbus East 119 and Jeff 119 just finished a match with the Jeff kid winning 5-4. Columbus coaches started screaming at the ref that he should have called a stalling call and given the East kid a point.  After a 5minute discussion the East kid was awarded a point. Overtime period started with the East kid down, he escaped and then the jeff kid took him down and rode it out. The next period the Jeff kid was down and jumped before the whistle and the ref said match over win Columbus. The jeff kid evidently had jumped before the whistle on other occassions. I left and went home only later to find out that the decision was over turned and Jeff was given the victory.

  So help me understand if we get 8 champions out of 14 weight classes 3 or 4 seconds in HHC individuals that is meaningless in a dual meet.  If we finish 10 or 11 guys ahead of Floyd in the individual tourney somehow all these guys are suddenly going to lose to them in a dual meet.  That logic to me is crazy.

In 2007 Jeff beat Floyd in the duals at Floyd.

Hold on Anteres1 I dont think you know why Floyd won in the duals last year.  JC 3rd in state was on susp. CH was on susp and BW also. If those guys wrestle Jeff wins. The proof is HHC individual tourney Jeff won by a landslide and Jeff also won the sectional.  Jeff wont lose in 103,112,119,171 and 215. Jeff might win also in 135, 152 and 189. I dont know if Jeffs 189 can beat JCs Kopitzke.  Jeff should win but they have lost some decent wrestlers in the last week or so.  Every year you can expect some attrition but 4 guys could be difficult to overcome.  I think they lost there  Heavy weight also.  His name wasnt on the board tonight and  i know he will not be wrestling in the duals. He placed 5th at Capital City.  

  I dont think everyone should jump on Jeffs bandwagon. I  know Jeff will be solid. They lost some very good kids last year. They have tried to fill some holes with some inexperienced kids. I know for sure there 160 dislocated elbow at Capitol City and is out for the year. I think the 140 kid quit the team and he was at Capitol city.   The 145 quit the team before Capital City.  Jeff is very solid though at 103,112,119, 130,135,152,171,189 and 215.  From what  I remember from last year I thought Jennings county had a lot of good kids returning.  Anyway we will see tomorrow.

Hey Crabride I was upset because all the good wrestlers were on one side of the bracket. I knew already that Murphy or Darien (when he wants to show up) were the best wrestlers. I knew that Newcombe had about 6 matches all year and ducked us when we went head to head. That was my complaint. I knew and argued that Murph could beat Hughes anyday. I call it like I see it. It was no surprise to me that Murph won at sectional. I pick him to win Regional

of course Jboy you say he'll go to conseco, hes your SON! haha whatd you think of murphy winnin sectionals as a 5 seed Nuts right!

Murph you need to relax. I know u r crabride. I knew you would do well in the sectional. I saw your match with Hughes from Providence.  YOu will never make that mistake again.  Do u think Tyler will lose? Maybe so. He did well in the Team Regionals beating 2 sectional champs.

  Its hard to match up some of these Heavies. Clark beat the Southrigde kid so easy. I dont know what happens after 1st. Didnt have all the brackets in ffront of me on the 103's. Thanks.  I was really impressed with the Southridge 152. He frustrated Alex Bailey and is very strong kid. Stetter the 171 controlled Caleb Browner in their match.  I thought Southridge had some very good kids in certain classes.

After watching TEAM Regionals I have gained some respect for wrestlers from Southridge.

i agree the were consistent with the calls...lots of stalling from Castle and lots of non-wrestling from MD...that is the worse I have ever seen mater dei wrestle...simply worthless. 

 

i would like to say one more thing.  the parents/fans from castle that were standing along the railing was a horrible display of support. 

 

and I know this is gonna sound mean as hell...but have fun gettin STOMPED at state

 

I wasnt paying attention to whoever was at the railing above the mats but I have heard things (from both sides).

 

I am sure that you would agree that it was in poor taste on both sides and that the emotions were probably running real high.

 

I would like and hope to believe that it was a select few but to be honest....I would think that most fans were watching where it counts and thats on the mat.

 

I can tell ya that no parents were involved...they were in the bleachers, watching their boys.

 

I would hope that even though Castle had never beaten you all, that they would at least act like they had been there before. From what I saw and heard, they did just that.

 

Most MD parents and fans that I know were bummed they lost but actually came over to offer their support to us...That should say it all ...you win with dignity and lose with the same....Dude...you got some issues....kind of like trying to pick fights like Tags dad from Jeff...You both should hook up

 

Not sure what the getting "STOMPED" at state meant. I am sure you are just having some withdrawl issues. I can tell you though that once Semi State, State and Team State arrives...everyone down here should root for all the boys from the south. I know we do.....

  I am Tags dad and I wasnt trying to pick fights. I had enuff of that when I did MMA in Calif. I know who the Irishman is talking about. They were loud and complaining about every call. It was very annoying. All the Jeff fans were getting upset. I simply was trying to let them know how loud and abnoxious they were.  I t was all in good fun after that. they laughed at me and me at them. Then it toned down.  the bottom line is Castle is a greata wrestling team and they deserve to win. They are the best team I have seen this year. I wish them the very best at State and simcerely hope they win.

When I saw Castle wrestle at their Holiday tourney in December I couldnt believe how good they were. They are solid almost top to bottom. I congratulate them on their victory last nite over Mater Dei and Jeff. It was very entertaining nite of wrestling. I am from Jeff and when Mater Dei won back in December it seemed like Castle wrestled Mater Dei different than they wrestled us. I looked at the lineups and did the math over and over and Castle wins everytime. Last nite they proved they are a great wrestling team. Congratulations to the Castle wrestling team. I hope you guys win the State.
